i never believed in angels
till i set my eyes on you
i never thought of fairies
but to me you became one
never imagined love could be so real
too tangible you made it

you have won my heart
you are the one i run to
you are my home
desert me not for the stars
from whence you came
i'm just an empty space without you

you are the key to my destiny
my treasure, my bones
guardian of my heart
like a knight, defend it
i'm crazy in love
hopelessly devoted to you

like a rudderless ship
tossing belligerently on an angry sea
heading for thr rocks
so was my chequered world
till you calmed the raging storm
and spoke tranquility to my soul

you changed me from a boy to a man
from a wild, ferocious jackal
to a gentleman of substance
angel of my heart, don't go away
abide with me forever
for your love is better than life.
