And I would say that their laughs are suited for different purposes. Mozart's is entertaining, inspiring the listener to laugh along. Kefka's is manaical, inspiring the listener to shiver in fear. If you swapped them...
...and then Neko got the mental image of Kefka in full-on Mozart garb, powdered wig and all, laughing like Mozart as he poisons Doma...
Okay, okay, don't swap them, I get it. Kefka playing his own theme on the piano is just too cliched. Although I could see Mozart saying "Ahem... there's SAND on my boots!"
