Insulting someone's taste in men is personally insulting them. It is not right to disregard something someone doesn't like just because they do not feel the same. She didn't even say it in a joking context. It sounded more like a personal attack to me.

^ and that's why we were so riled up. As I said, IF she was really kidding, a simple "j/k" wouldn't have killed her.
