All crew related matters go in this section, from changes in Crew, to anything the Captain and crew feels is important.

Punishment of the Members:

This is just something i thought be good to have.

If for any reason We need to ban anyone, It should be a vote poll on the banned topic in here, and the topic should be a discussion on why that person should be banned. Also any posts, or evidence of the reasoning for the banning should be saved and moved to the CREW LOUNGE or RECYCLE BIN, unless too offensive or over the top. This will allow the whole crew to make a fair vote, and allow the correct and just verdict and punishment.

I figured we should have a few levels, such as a warning sent as a PM to the member. Can be done by any Crew member, if they feel it's fair.
Banning, removal from the guild, whether temporary or perminant. Done by crew Vote.
And [hopefully the never needed] Reporting to Gaia Mods. Done by crew vote.

-In the event of a tie, more conversing will take place, until the vote is the picks a majority.

Making Guild Decisions:

The same as making choices on punishment, it stands that this guild is a democracy. And that the Crew has the right to help in creating all the rules and policies that the guild creates.

This means that things such as punishment and adding crew members, changing or adding subforums, creating or altering some drastic part of the guild should be done only with the guild's crew's approval.

Meaning the Captain, nore V.C.'s nor a single crew member can do anything drastic without first posting it here for all the crew to vote and discuss.
once a majority vote is creating, said action may be set in motion.

The crew, though less empowered by Gaia Guild standards, have less powers, they still have an equal say in this democracy. And the Captain and VC's can't just creating rules or crew members without first approving of it with the guild's "council" the WHOLE crew.

Remember these Gaians are chosen to be the eyes, ears, and brains of the guild... so use them, all of them.

DEALING WITH CREW PROBLEMS:

This is important to have, so I'm adding it here, for the Crew to see. Remember these Crew members are the same as any member, but should be more responsible, so the punishment is more harsh.

The members offense should be saved and kept in the Crew Lounge or in the Recycling Bin, and should be used in the deliberation of the correct punishment.

Just like the punishment for a member, there are stages.

Warning: Allowing the Crew member to know they have committed an offense. Can be administered by any crew member.

Demotion: Whether permanent or temporary is up to the guild, but its the action taken by the guild in the from of a poll and discussion. Captain, V.C.'s and Crew members are all subject to the same level of removal, to simple "Member Status". No treatment, no exceptions.

Banning: Removal from the guild whether temporary or permanent, also decided by the discussion and poll.

Reporting: Reporting the offense to the Gaia Mods to allow them to decide punishment.
