Warnersister I was reading a Star Wars book which mentioned "an old freighter from Gallofree...". I think the spelling's near enough that that was an intentional reference smile DW I read that! Y'know, I am actually so dumb. I didn't even NOTICE that until you pointed it out... sweatdrop sweatdrop

Enjou_Garyuu Once I saw Eccleston in 28 days later (first time I had seen it) and we were watching it in school and when I saw him I shouted "Holly s**t! It's Doctor Who!" And everyone looked at me like I was nuts. It was awsome! Quote: I totally did when the teacher showed Elizabeth in history. No one knew WHAT I was on about except this one British girl. So we sat together and laughd about DW and the rest of the class looked at us weird. I'm not into Star Trek, but apparently there's an episode where they meet an alien with a sonic screwdriver. Then there's Back to the Future, where "Doc" an Marty travel through time in a strangely shapped vessel... come on, squint a bit and it's totally a Doctor Who rip off.

Ceribri The wonderful TV show 'Heroes' referred to two Doctor Who things (well the fact that Christopher Eccleston is one of the actors I'm not counting) His character, Claude, when we first meet him, he's yelling and ranting at this other character, Peter. One of the first things he says after he stops yelling is "Fantastic." Later, Peter gets pushed off a 30 story building by Claude and yells at him afterwards and says "If I hadn't regenerated, I would have died!" mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen Next he should either see an old phone booth (that happens to be blue), or something say "exterminate!" or *something* happen! It is scary that you should mention something like that a something akin to a police box appears 3 episodes before Claude does. Some time around 30 minutes in to the episode. I can be sure of it , but it does appear!

I can be sure of it , but it does appear! Yep, there was a screen cap in DWM. 27 minutes 12 seconds into Episode Nine.

When I first heard about the Caverns of Time instances in WoW they added in the expansion, I immediately thought "Doctor Who? In my WoW?!"

Muhahahah I just remembered, can't ah, remember if I told you but hey I'll tell it again all the same.
In year 9 HPE we had to learn first aid and all that, and memorise all that ... stuff... including DRABC. Now, on the test we had to say what that acronym stood for and provide a bit of basic information. Unfortunately, I had a bit of a mental blank, and got as far as R before forgetting.
D: Danger...
R: ?????????
So I just thought 'oh to hell with this' and put
R: Regeneration; is it Doctor Who?
and continued on like I had done nothing wrong. And I was highly disappointed that I didn't get a mark for that. I mean come on, if the guy is seriously injured you really should check that it isn't Doctor Who before you send him off to be operated on; we all know the 8th doc had a bit of a disaster there.

Hey Anakoreta! Well, Bananas! is based quite a lot on the thread of the same name in Chatty Kathy. (just look for the thread with the most replies)
It's got moi, David Tennant, and Claude (from Heroes) in the Tardis, and then a massive group of fangirls, and some of you guys who made yourselves part of the story are in it. Lullabee writes the Doctor (Ten) into the story at some point and there's some great banter she wrote. It also involves aliens invading the Tardis.
