Has anyone ever come in contact with someone who watches the 2004 movie and says, "He's not so bad, if he keeps his mask on." And I think...wow...
Also, the first way I got expossed to the Phantom of the Opera is throught the 2004 movie...okay so Gerry is a little sexy...but stangly enough I prefer the more deformed death's head over Gerik...[yes, I'm strange]

The biggest peeve of mine is when Phans spell the characters' names wrong. Erik will be Erique and Raoul will be Roule. Eww...pure madness I tell you. Or when Phanbrats go "Kristen is a slut. OMGWTFBBQ I'd so sleep with the Phantom". UGH! I need to gouge someone's eyes out when I hear that.
What I found funny was when someone said "He may be ugly, but it's the inside that counts, and he has a beautiful soul.". Psycho murderers are beautiful on the inside rofl

Life can be Lived, Life can be Loved...I really, really hate that everyone I know thinks I'm totally OBSESSED just because they all think I think Gerry is hot, because they do...I love the Phantom because, I, well I know it sounds stupid but, I am the Phantom. Keep Reading! I am literally an outcast in my school. I am the number one target in my school. I don't have a deformity but everyone pushes me out...I don't want it to sound like a sob story, it's just, that's the truth.

It makes me angry that people thought that Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum did a good job with the roles. I think they sounded terrible! They needed to use people with more singing experience.

I think Butler did quite well. In all seriousness. I liked him a lot more than most of the singers in the broadway. That's just me. My own opinion. I think he did well.
But I will say this: Don't call the man terrible. For the experience he had, even if you DIDN'T like his voice, he still sang accordingly and caught a lot of "Phans" with a musical sensation (Or as some would like to say "Orgasm") once or twice.

Live, Gerik can't sing, they looped him on the high notes and touched up his voice digitally afterward. Just thought I'd throw that in.
On a different guild, someone made an allusion to Erik as eric, and I blew up. The poor guy wasn't a fan though, and was just making a point, and we eventually got it straightened out that it's more of a disrespect for canon, like in Lord of the Rings saying Gondolf or Aragon. That drives me nuts as well.

My top Phan pet peeves:
1.) Gerard Butler's Phantom in general.(I'm gonna get flamed for this sweatdrop )
2.)People who Gerry is the best Phantom because of his looks(to which I respond "Have you ever seen Hugh Panaro without the makeup on?" which is usually responded with "Who the hell is Hugh Panaro?" at which point I walk away.)
3.)People who insist that Michael Crawford is indisputably the best Phantom, yet have never heard anyone else(4.)(Repeat) People who claim to LOVE POTO SO MUCH, yet have only seen the movie with the sub-par Gerry Butler.
Gerry fans, please don't hate me.....

I have to admit, I started to like the Phantom because of the movie. But, then I bought Leroux's book and alot of things made more sense.
Then I saw the touring cast when it was down here!
I prefer the musical because its inbetween the book and the movie.
I dislike 'Phans' because, the ones I know have NO INTENTION of reading the orgional novel, which in my part, is an important part of becoming a true Phan.
Ps. Videogamegod, I love Hugh! Yay for Youtube! He's my second favourite Phantom, my first being John Cudia.

I find it annoying when people say that the music is the most wonderfull thing theyve hurd
but they dont really mean it
like when erik was singing music of the night
they dont feel the way christine feels etc.
