...Anything?
I don't think that people should be given the power to do anything. Like that old saying...Power = corruption.
But I guess that I'd save the environment and create more peace. I don't want an ENTIRE, ETERNAL world peace though, because I believe in the whole Yin Yang thing. Nothing can exist w/o its opposite. I'd just like more of the good opposite. smile

If I had the power to do anything, I would stop the cutting down of trees for the construction of company buildings, or whatever. Trees help cut down the amount of Greenhouse gases each year. Not much, but it's better than nothing.

I'd like to see the human race extinct. Maybe by a virus or something which makes everybody die painlessly in their sleep. Yeah it's extreme, but it'd give the environment and other animal species a chance to recover from our destructive influence.

Either that or have some sense knocked into all of our heads and have some otherworldly power to completely exterminate our greedy and selfish nature and thus save the planet.

Anything?
I'd try to put a little more compassion into people's hearts, and trust. Though I think it's mostly Americans that have this freaking paranoia problem. Whatever the reasoning for our current state of affairs, I would instill a sense of trust into people. I still remember in Switzerland the women who would leave their babies in strollers outside the supermarket because they were too annoying to deal with inside. Because really, who would steal a baby? I mean, seriously, who DOES that sort of thing? And why would you? It's wrong. plain and simple.
And while I have Ominpotent powers, I would fix my horse's leg, and create a transporter so that I can take him back and forth to school with me without the trauma of travel for him.
I'd also like to smite all of the people who are trying to tell me how to train the pony I'm working with because I want them to back the ******** off and let me work with the horse.
And I want a chocolate moose. Life size. A moose made entirely of chocolate.
But if we're talking about bettering the world, then instilling a bit of compassion and trust, I think, will be a huge step to helping make this planet a more livable place.

I'd fix the oxone hole.
Though global warming is probably a bigger environmental problem, the situation with greenhouse gases and climate change is so complicated I'd be too scared to screw around with it. sweatdrop
