I got the Yami Yugi plushie while I was at 99 Ranch in Richmond, California. It's authentic but not very well-made; the blonde bangs are coming apart/falling off and the black/red hairpiece is coming off so I'll probably have to sew them together when I get a chance. I don't really throw my plush toys around and someone else I know has the same plushie made by the same company (Majesco). The hairpiece does came off rather easily :c
The little figurines came from a capsule machine at a K-Mart in my state. If you're hoping to get one of these, it might be kind of hard since the company, GachaUSA, closed their stateside business last January or February. You'll probably have to buy them online or if you're lucky, find one in some superstore. Orrrrrr you could go to Japan since the company still exists over there, but I can't imagine someone would go just for these little trinkets.
There are nine figurines in this series:
Yami Yugi
Dark Magician
Exodia the Forbidden One
Seto Kaiba
Blue-Eyes White Dragon
Maximillion J. Pegasus
Toon Blue-Eyes
Joey Wheeler
Red-Eyes Black Dragon
Apparently there was going to be a second series, but I guess it didn't make it before GachaUSA closed down in the States. The second series isn't listed on their website, but each capsule figurine contains a little slip of paper that lists the characters in the series. On the back, it lists some of the figurines that would have been in the second series:
Yami Bakura
Yami Yugi (different pose?)
Obelisk the Tormentor
Summoned Skull
Slifer the Sky Dragon
I'm sorry for the horrible photo quality - I took them with a disposable camera. I had to edit Yami's skin tone because the photo made him look as pale as a ghost
gonk He's a bit more pinkish than what's shown in the photo.
Also if you go to their website, you won't see Yu-Gi-Oh listed under the Products category - you have to manually type it in. I don't know why it's like that, but eh...
