Just remember this. We are all guilty of sin and deserve to die because of this, but if we ask for forgiveness and accept the Holy Spirit into our heart while following Christ's teachings, our sins will be washed away, forever. God will no longer judge us for the sins that we are forgiven for. There is no need for you to clean yourself because Jesus washed away your sins with His blood. As long as you try to live a holy(set apart) life for God you will end up on Gods right side the day of judgement. That will be a great day for us, you don't need to fear.
but it's the human part of me that fears it. i can't control that. thoyugh i am feeling better, it still scardes me a bit. can you notice i''m in one of my "venting" moofds?
I don't remember the verse, but the Bible says that "God hasn't given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (self-control)." Every time you become afraid, beat your flesh into submission by saying that verse aloud for, "the tounge holds the power of life and death (don't know what verse that is either but its in there)." I've had to do that SO many times. As a female teen in our world there is a lot for me to fear. Yet I have beaten that fear down by repeating that verse over and over. Also look at psalm 91, it is filled with protection verses that you can plead over yourself and your loved ones. Don't worry, God's got it covered.
