As far as I know, no one on the GEN staff has ever been offered modship except for one, but it was certainly not because she was affiliated with us.
However, if you mean whether the main thread was once a sticky, it indeed was once.

As far as I know, no one on the GEN staff has ever been offered modship except for one, but it was certainly not because she was affiliated with us.
However, if you mean whether the main thread was once a sticky, it indeed was once. On Gaia not the guild.

As Aquafire said, I know of no one on the G.E.N. updater staff who was invited to be a mod. There is one regular GENer who is a mod, but the two positions are in no way related.
Also, on a side note, the G.E.N. is not a mule account, at least in the regular sense; that would imply using it to store gold and/or items or using it as a secondary account to post or lurk on Gaia. G.E.N. is more of a dummy account whose purpose is to allow access of the price guide by all G.E.N. updaters.

I can't remember exactly, but I think I was offered mod-ship before I got made an "official" GENer. sweatdrop
I know of at least two other GEN members who were considered, but I'm the only one who made it. sweatdrop
