It’s nice to see that my thread sparked some good conversation; in the midst the conversation lots of good topics where brought up, topics that touched on strategies and weaponry but lets not forget what’s really important and what’s important is style. It kind of annoys me when ( An I’ve seen this happen) someone takes the time to assemble a mech than tune and tweak to get that mech in tip top fighting shape, Than go into paint and just slap on a sample color. I mean lets face there are only so many parts and so many weapons but a good paint job can really bring out an AC’s personality. I’ll use my Liberty as a example, Liberty is a tank design that focuses on AP with bazookas in both hands so i went with a forest green camo paint job implementing to shades of green, black and brown.
Oh I can't deny that. All my ACs I spend at least 30 minutes on in the paintshop, lol. I'm not one for camo patterns, and I never really liked too many primary, warm colors. I was always one for the cooler, dark shades. My AC for example, is a dark, dark, regal-blue shade, with hints of black/dark gray along the edges to offset it just enough so that it has a good blend. It's details, the glowy parts and whatnot, I use a very bright blue for. I like my paintjob...
