Jess smiled and held her cup out for a refill from the waitress.
"Osaka." she said simply, holding the cup again. "Business more than pleasure I'm afraid.Got to help a friend with some stuff" She sighed and leant back in her chair. "I wanted to go somewhere with a beach and do nothing but no such luck. Where do you think you would like to go if you can get Kusani to stop moping and have some fun?"

Obie pulled a face at Jess's words. "That bites. You shouldn't have to work on your only real vacation," she said, flipping her hair back over her shoulders. "Your beach idea sounds nice. Though I wonder if Ra would really be willing to only sit about and lounge on a beach. Back home... the beaches in Texas... they're crap," she smirked.

Jess smiled and nodded.
"My thoughts exactly. I really wanted to go to Thailand or Malaysia and spend a couple of weeks doing nothing but reading on the beach." That would literally have been all she would be doing. There was no way Kayne would have been able to join her. She laughed at her idea that Ra might be happy lounging on a beach.
"Hmm something tells me you would have to comprimise. He seems much more like the sightseeing type to me."
