Greetings, people, and welcome to another wonderful thread by me! It has been a while since I submitted you all to the beauty of my prose, but you need not buy me welcome back presents.

To be serious though, I feel we should all get together and chuck ideas about. Nothing is too frivolous! Just throw things into the pot and see what comes out!
I made this thread as I view it to be distinct from Guild Discussion - there it is guild only ideas, but here I would like to encourage very random, silly ideas too. Think it'd be fun for the guild to have something off-topic, like a Yu-gi-oh avatar competition? Suggest it here, we don't mind!
Without further pomp and ado, let the idea-tossing begin!

How about getting rid of the modern academy until we have more members interested in it? Use the forum instead as the forum for places around the medieval academy, like towns, pubs, strange caves...

Interest raising events!
You might have seen the yu-gi-oh avatar competition mentioned in the top post. It was just meant to be a silly, frivolous example, but, (and this is why I am encouraging frivolous ideas here) something grew out of it.
How about we hold silly competitions in the public forums, and the winner gets an invite to the guild?
Silly and serious competitons, like a yu-gi-oh themed avatar comp, or a story-writing comp.

Hello Tsu, Finally came back on today and seen that you've returned. Glad to see that you're back. Been doing minor modifications around here.
However, You do got a point about the Modern Academy. I was just thinking about that as of yesterday. To redesign the forum into something else. Heh..But you done already answered the question that I had asked myself. So we can place this one into our private discussion or yet the Blackhand lore.
But that is a good change though. Anyways..Glad to see that you're back again. razz

Hee, we have the dice rolling system on gaia...
Fun events: pie-throwing contests?
It runs like a fight tourney, with four pairs in the first round, two in the next, and then the final pair. Or more. Anyhow, in the first round, each player rolls a low dice to determin their dodge, and their aim. Then they take it in turns to throw a pie at each other. If I throw a pie at Bob, I roll a dice. His dodge is taken away from my roll, and my aim is added on. If the number is more than that of his dodge, I hit him.
It would be funny for people to roleplay the pie fight too, but that's just me being mad. xD

Maybe like an "________ Avatar Day"?
Where everyone has to dress their avatar, but there are some specifications you have to follow and see what everyone's avatar looks like? xDDD

I think a Lingerie one would be really amusing, 'cause I doubt it's done much, and there ARE lots of different underweary things. Scarfs and gloves and socks and shoes should be allowed too...

What about a colour theme... so everyone has to dress their avatars in one colour...
oooh I like the idea of the dice rolley thing... pie throwing contest would be rather funny..
I had more ideas but have totally forgotten them now.

I kind of like the idea of a writing competition.
Maybe have a writing competition using your avatars as OC characters and write a short story. Maybe 2000-3500 words or something...? And if you wanted, throw in a picture for the heck of it. smile

Or maybe just a creative writing subforum in general?
Since a lot of us enjoy writing in general, maybe we can put up a subforum where we can post our stories, or just excerpts, and we can give constructive criticism to one another.
