Aeris Esper 1943 (to-down plane shooter, if you've never heard of it) I'm pretty sure it's called 1942. *checks* Ah, 1943 was the sequel to 1942.

I'm trying to figure out how network multiplayer game coding works, so someone come test an example for me. It's Pong! Download it hereEdit: Further problems. If two of you guys could try connecting to each other and tell me if you're able to, I'd appreciate it. I think I'm having trouble connecting because of my router, so I can't test it.

I tried it with Veras. We used a random code (Atleast, I think. I just used on Veras came up with), but when I went to click "Join game", it said no session was available.
EDIT: Veras thinks its a coding problem. Seeing as how I see the data and coding in the computer as pure, unbreathable s**t, I guess I'd have to agree. sweatdrop

What's weirder though is that I can run two versions of the game on my computer with one as the server and the other as the client, and there are no problems. It even works if neither person puts in an IP in the box asking for it at the start. (try it, if you want)
Everything works perfectly there. Each window allows you to move that player's paddles around. There's no lag either.
So I have no idea why it's not connecting for anyone.

I'm gonna try doing it myself like Esper and see what I get. We tried doing the "No Address" thing, and I'm still getting the same message. D:
EDIT:
Odd... It works with two programs running at the same time for me too. I don't know, it's simply not connecting to anything else outside this computer.
...I think maybe someone else should try doing it together. It may be my new router or connection. They're both a little... Jumpy.
