I thought I'd give you guys a head's up on this too! I've read in threads not to worry if you miss an event, that you'll get a second chance, and twice I've missed an event on the screen just as I was clicking to go elsewhere, and you can't go back and find it, but both times, I got the same event again about 5 or 10 minutes later. smile

I've been on here almost a month now and I haven't gotten any of those OMG events. I have had my IE popup blocker notify me of something, I sure hope it didn't block my events. You'd think it wouldn't since it's apparently kinda like getting a pm message or trade message. I've never gotten a popup blocker message with those. I'll wait patiently and see if I do get any though whee

What browser do you use? I've noticed that with mozilla, I didn't get the eek on my avatar, but I did actually SEE the pink link, which I never see in IE (but I get the OMG notice on my avi.) Some people, I've heard, have never ever seen the eek , but they do see a floating box down their screen, and some don't even see that. There should ALWAYS be a link at the bottom of the screen when you get one that says "If you cannot see your event, click here" but it would be tedious to check the bottom of EVERY page!
Sometimes you can go weeks without one though, so maybe you haven't actually missed one and you'll get one soon!

Thanks for the head's up fawN! I actually haven't gotten a rare event in FOREVER!!!! Nice to know tho if i actually miss one I'll get a 2nd chance at it! heart

OKay...I think there's something wrong with the Gaia rare event system. I've been here all day polling my butt off and I haven't had even ONE event. crying crying crying

Try wandering about the map occasionally too. That's when I have gotten a few.

so far i have gotten 3 trunks...
the last one i missed cause it was after i had posted...and right when it loaded the page refreshed to go back to the thread...i missed it..but about 5 minutes later i got another one..so i kinda lucked up there sweatdrop

GigglyBipper I haven't had an event since before the roll back... hmmm. Same! I wondered if they ever turned the events back on after they disabled them during the rollback!

i had a pink giftbox this morning before i had to go to work eek ...luckily i didnt miss is cause i had just posted to bump my quest thread sweatdrop ...caught it and opened it..it had the scar of the hero in it mrgreen ...one of the many things i needed for martins avi....tosses purkle good luck dust around the couch 4laugh
