"Stay safe River," Desert called after her as she walked away. They had just reunited and started to become a pack again. He didn't know if he could handle it if something happened to his Alpha just now.

 Although he did not show it or say it, Koenshan was thinking along the same lines as his young companion. Part of him wanted to go with her, as if foolishly thinking he could protect their Alpha. Part of him wanted to try & pull the pack back together... although he had no idea how to even begin to try. Part of him wanted to wander elsewhere, part of him wanted to stay put.
The part of him accustomed to obeying won out of course & he stayed. Restlessly he walked the boarders of their lands -should he even call it their lands if they were planning to leave?- stopping only to drink occasionally from the pool beneath the waterfall.
He did not wish to think, throwing himself into the Now of Wolf Thought & the patrol of the area.

((After Thread RP with River *edit: um... here*)) The blue & green male paced a length of the packlands before entering in. Finding Desert's scent he trailed it to the new adult. They grow so fast. But would he find the other male awake or asleep? Now there was the real question.
It did not matter. If he was asleep, Koenshan would let him sleep. If he was awake... then they would find something quick to eat & bid their once home goodbye.
