Umm... I've got a problem...
I recently downloaded Soulseek, but most of the songs didn't work. I tried downloading them, but it said they were "remotely queued".
What does it mean, and how do I fix it?

Deadly-Lullaby Umm... I've got a problem... I recently downloaded Soulseek, but most of the songs didn't work. I tried downloading them, but it said they were "remotely queued". What does it mean, and how do I fix it? It means that they have other people downloading from them, so you have to wait in line. Right click the first song in queue from each user and click on "Get Place in line" to see how long you have to wait before it begins DLing. If you have alot of stuff to share, consider PMing people and asking them to add you to their list, and they might. Just make sure it's organized well. (If someone adds you to their list, you generally get higher preference than non-list users) I also suggest looking for some metal (or whatever) rooms and doing room searches for stuff you're looking for in them. You will have more success that way than doing a standard search, AND you may meet a few friends in the chat there who will add you to their list.

I got soulseek and while it's very easy to find whatever you're looking for, it's very slow.

Why not just use something like imesh or limewire, i find them less complicated.

Soulseek may have rarer songs than Limewire, but what good does it do you if the lines are all ******** five miles long?
