Username: Taro Rae
Character Name: Valok RnKied
Race: Muzina
Class: Monk in training. Currently Bodyguard for Hire.
Appearance: Valok is short for his kind, standing 5'6" even though he has already reached 17 years and likely will not get any taller. He has dark garnet coloured hair worn in a crop that he styles with sweet-scented wax to spike up and back. He wears red pencil around his dark blue eyes and has a tattoo of a luck charm in Priest's Runes around his neck. He wears a dark plum-coloured tuzi with blood red tuzi pants and sleeves. Hs belt is a black silk sash and he wears black leather bracers over his sleeves and black leather boots up to his calves. His weapon is a pair of Imperial Ruzor blades, and he has these sheathed on his lower back on a black iron borad. Aside from his rucksack and a black leather pouch that he wears underneath his borad, he seems empty handed.
History: Valok passed his Test of Pain at half-way through second level, and chose to become a Monk. He trained under the Master of the Imperial School of the Ruzor for two years, and was then sent abroad to learn the ways of the world, and how to apply the philosophies he studied. Now he finds himself in Bodove looking for work and another meal.
He is an outgoing young man with a lust for life and a heavy appetite. He loves to learn of foreign cultures and still holds much pride in his homeland and his patron Goddess Isham. He is still fresh enough with the world that the bitterness and jaded otlook have not yet sunk in, leaving Valok with an energetic 'This is a wonderful experience!' outlook on many of life's misfortunes. He's always ready and willing to lend a hand, when he can, offering his native Be ti toh zeruii?

Username: Balo
Character Name: Phadden son of Nauba
Race: Tirivahni (child of Oas, the peacock)
Class: Shadowwalker/mage (former Slave)
Appearance:He stands about 5'5", well-proportioned and graceful in appearence. Phadden is small and boyish, pretty without being exceptionally feminine. He's very fair-skinned, even for his people, and his skin is milky white. His eyes are a dark reddish orange in colour. His hair shines a few different colours - tones of purple and indigo with a few streaks of dark green. It's obvious that it's often fussed-over and well taken care of. It hangs to the bottom of his neck, not quite brushing the tops of his shoulders, and the bangs sweep back at his ears into a fetching set of curls that frame his face.
He's clad in rather fine-looking clothing, though his indentity as a slave is made apparent with a loose black silk chemise(a black shirt is a slave mark) and a large metal ring on his belt(for leashing). The neckline of his shirt is low and v-shaped, about halfway down his chest, and emboidered with purple thread. Over the shirt he wears a low corset of purple and green brocade fabric. His skirt is straight-cut, the same purple and green brocade as his corset. Rather than the usual knee-high slits of a man's skirt, Phadden's has a slit on only the left side all the way up to his hip. A tight pair of black leggings hug his finely-shaped legs. His boots are made of tanned doe-skin, reaching to about mid-calf. The somewhat bulky and sturdy-looking boots seem far too large for how big his feet ought to be. They sport a large and shiney buckle each at the ankle. At his waist, he wears a long gem-studded belt looped three times - twice around his waist, the third long loop reaching to one side down his right leg. On his arms he wears bracers the same fabric and pattern as his skirt and corset, reching from elbow to wrist - underneath these, a tight pair of black gloves. The baggy sleeves of the shirt billow around the elbow where they're tucked in. Around his neck he wears a few necklaces with beads of red, purple and green - as well as a gem-studded velvet collar.
It's obvious that this pet is very, very spoiled.
History: Phadden left his rich life and home around the age of 14 after he'd applied for a tailor's apprenticeship, and been accepted. His mother forbade him to go, telling him he was not old enough for the resonsibility, and that he wasn't able to take care of himself. He fought his mother on it a while, but eventually the apprenticeship was given away to another boy. When that happened, he ran away from home in a tearful fit of rage, blaming his mother for souring his career as a tailor.
After a month or so of travelling, he came to the country of Suoro for the first time. He'd only been there a week when a gang of bandits robbed and captured him, the leader of the band taking him for himself as a slave. He stayed with the bandits two years, learning the "tricks of the trade" as it were. In addition to learning the arts of a pleasurist, the bandits taught him Suoro bandit tricks - the arts of knife-fighting, stealth, theivery and such. He resisted his captor for only a short time, the good-looks and wit of the charming man winning him over without much trouble.
One day, he was out assisting with a buisness deal, he caught the eye of a very wealthy Suoro merchant. The bandit leader said at first the Phadden was not for sale, but the man insisted and offered him a substantial sum of money as well as a few slaves. After they'd haggled awhile, Phadden learned he'd been sold, and the reality of his life as a slave set in. He was heart-broken, having grown rather attatched to the bandit gang.
Once again, however, it seemed luck was on his side. The merchant was as beautiful as he was wealthy, and Phadden found himself adoringly spoiled. All he needed to offer in exchange were his "talents", which he was more than happy to provide. He lived quite comfortably with him until one day, when they were abroad on a business trip, his master was murdered on Ijana, the big island south of the coast of bodove. Phadden finds himself alone again, now... with no knowlage of his master's whereabouts, and a decent sum of his wealth entrusted to him.

Username: Ronin Sai/Sacred Angeleus
Character Name: Sen
Race: Lisdanese
Class: Pirate/Sailor(duh)/Rogue (general blackmarketeer)
Appearance: Sen is fairly average in height and weight, she stands 6'even with long, flowing white hair, slightly curly reaching down to her waist if she'd wear it down. Her eyes are a deep, dark brown, like twin pools of cocoa. Her skin, more blue than black and no longer as smooth as it once was, time has finally started to catch up to her. She's not young anymore, not at 42--she's already passed middle age. She wears a large brimmed hat with a feather, rather reminiscent of a musketeer. A practical pair of leather boots and purple (she just likes the color) waterproofed pants, a simple linen shirt and a gold brocade vest with purple embroidery underneath her her thick waterproof coat. She has a cloak that hangs gracefully from her shoulders with a hood that uses during bad weather (the cloak is also waterproofed). Half her face, chest, and her right arm are covered in bad burn scars--bleached a pale blue they tend to draw unwanted attention. Her long, round earlobes are adorned with many silver rings and studs that run all the way up to the cartilage and a small tattooing on each lobe surface.
History: Sen had always been a rogue, just like her mother and her mother's mother, but the pirate part didn't come until later. Her husband, when she was married, was in the middle of an alchemical experiment in his lab, Sen had just tucked the children into bed then went to see if her husband Lai Kwie (?) needed some help. That's when the lab blew up. Lai Kwie did his very best to shield Sen from the blast and died in the process, Sen sustained terrible burns over a good portion of her body. So, she took the children, (two girls) Voy and Nal and left to rebuild their lives. Her talent with blackmarket connections got her a good gig on a pirate ship, having no other options at the time and her children both being old enough, she took them with her. Voy and Nal learned quick how to be good pirates and both did just that when they grew up, keeping the family tradition of roguery. Sen has been the captain of her own pirate ship (a schooner) called Thappetif for a couple years and has been suffering the empty nest syndrome for several. She visits her daughters a few times a year and they visit her, whenever their routes bring them close to one another. Sen general deals with the blackmarket and slave trading, but certainly isn't above blackmail or simple drug trafficing.

Username: Torvil
Character Name: Vabo Null
Race: Bodove: Vabo
Class: Brawl Fighter/Ruffian
Appearance: Standing at around four feet four inches, with deep rich brown fur and sharp yellow eyes. Wears a bright red Jumper with deep blue shorts, brass buttons along the right side of the jumper, bracers are a soft and supple leather. Wears three brass bangles on his right arm and two on his left. Fur is coarse and not very pleasant to the touch, and usually a bit on the dirty side. Tends to stay slightly hunched forwards, making himself seem a bit smaller than he really is. Has a scar running along the right shoulder down to the wrist, visible due to the poor mending. Has a Spiral pattern dyed into the fur on his left back, a deep black to his chocolate brown. He keeps all his possessions in a large haversack he carries on his back.
History: Born to a prominent male in the Vabo clan, Null was the seventh cub born to his father. However, even as a young cub he did not behave like his brothers and sisters, he was much more aggressive, even to the point of being almost too violent with his playmates. Often shunned by his peers, Null often kept himself busy by wandering out into the more dangerous areas around the village, hunting for sport. When he was in his early teens, he ventured out alone one day to hunt, feeling in the mood to cause some damage. While out, he was stalked by a Mngar and attacked. The beast struck hardest and most true on his right arm, tearing it open from shoulder to wrist. In fear for his life, Null struck back at the beast with a large stone, having gone from his village without a weapon. Braining the beast hard, he tried to keep it from rending him again, and failing horribly at each new attempt. Bloodied and battered, and full of injured rage, he pinned the beast to the ground and repeatedly slammed the large stone down upon it’s head. Once the rage subsided from Null’s mind, he found himself aware of what he had done, now kneeling on the broken corpse of the Mngar. Torn between pride in his ability to kill, and an internal feeling of guilt for not remembering how he had done it, Null decided the best thing to do would be to bring the mangled body home. However, when he arrived, he found his father to be livid. The day he’d decided to go and make himself a right mess was the day the Play houses had come to take those who would look best. In his physically battered and matted state, he did not pass as good enough. His father was furious, and sent him to his uncle, a man of much lower standing than his father, to have some sense worked into him.

While at his Uncles however, Null grew more and more rebellious, until finally his uncle could stand it no longer, and put the now middle teen boy on a ship, thinking perhaps some time at sea would shape him into a better man. This too did not go as planned, for Null found that the Sailors were men who he found much more in common with, and soon he picked up some rather, vile habits. Still having been taught no profession, and still an unruly young man, Null once found himself at his Uncles home. His uncle was furious that nothing he had done had seemed to fix the boy who was not steady approaching adulthood. He washed his hands of the matter and sent Null back to his father.

His father was beyond livid when the unkempt Null appeared on his doorstep, telling his father that he had been sent from his uncles home, and that his uncle would have no more of him. Feeling that there was nothing left to be done, Null’s father sent Null to learn the only trade he seemed to have a knack for. Null started to work as a bouncer for a Tavern his father frequented. However, he seemed to like busting the heads of rowdy patrons rather than tossing them out. Finally the owner of the Tavern would have no more of it, and told Null not to return to work the next night.

Null returned to the Tavern the following night, but not to work. Instead, he took all his earnings and began to gamble them away, often getting into arguments with the other players over ‘supposed’ cheating. Halfway into the night, Null finally lost his cool, and in a fit of anger at another patron, he flipped the table over and began to beat the poor man to near death. The new bouncer tried to break up the fight, but was instead pulled into the fray. The ensuing bar brawl broke most of the furniture in the establishment, as well as many bones. Null was finally subdued and went home battered, bruised, and nursing the beginnings of a hangover. When he reached his home however, he found himself face to face with his father, who had just heard of the damage he had caused. Null’s father had reached the end of his patience and he turned Null away, telling him to not return until the boy had learned to control himself. Null became angry, and in a rage attempted to attack his father, but in his tried and beaten state, he was no match for the better trained and more experienced male, and was quickly subdued.

When Null awoke the next morning he found that none of his father’s men would let him into the house, so he set off to find a place to sleep off his now throbbing head. It just so happened that the games had arrived in town a few days before, and were now beginning to get into full swing. Null was quickly pulled into the affair, and soon, was participating in the games along side men as rough and tumble as he was. He won a few events, but that did little to please him. Finally he packed up what small amount of belongings he had and started off, searching for some form of adventure.
