i'm currently trying to write out Benny Goodman's Clarinet A La King by ear. it's very hard and kinda frustrating cuz of the rhythms stressed !!!

No. Did you try it yet?
Ive only done the tones so far. It was basically this: you take an instrument (keyboard/piano is suggested) then the CD plays a note. You pause it, try and find the note, and then write it on some staff paper. I had some problems with the bass since I'm still kind of figureing it out. I'm a sheltered musician-- I've never strayed outside my treble clef xd .
