notjello666 I do not hate Emos, because I do not think emos exist. I hate the stereotype emo, because I dress how everyone calls emo or goth. And, because of the stereotype, everyone in my school who dresses like me gets called emo and gets rumors spread around the school about them cutting themselves (when they don't). Like, whenever I wear a wristband (because it has a cool band on it) it makes everyone think I'm hiding cuts underneath it. And EVERYONE in the school that is not my friend (98%) thinks me and my friends cut themselves. That is why I hate Emo, Not emo's. I think I probably have it worse than some people that accually cut. So, I don't get why they do. But, I love emo music and the style everyone calls emo. Y r u in da guild then? Dis guild is 4 ppl who hate emos not peeople who hate da stereotype emo. Anyway i hate emo cuz they look scary and cuz my friend tell me 2. And every1 nos dat u have 2 go wit da flow so. Anyway im new 2 da guild so RESPECT ME! lol!

Anyways, this thread said INTELLIGENT reasons, what you posted is far from that. You hate Emos because they look weird and your friend told you to? What kind of respect do you have... for yourself? Jesus Christ woman, believing in something just because someone told you to is more pathetic than any emo-trender could possibly be. And, it's like you're typing in a different language here. It hurts teh eyes, it honestly does.

TehEmoSlayer ok i hate emos because in my 9th grade year i was put in the hospital because i was very close to death and at this point i was a stupid 9th grader and i was falling towards becoming emo soi woke up from my small idiotic close minded existence and found out what humans are built on is truly emotions that are much stronger then sadness and i sw all these idiots becoming depressed when they dont have it bad so i found a emotion that drove me to start doing good in school and that emotion was accauly my hatred towards certain groups including emos who have stupid ideas so that in the future i could persaude themto see it my way very gentaly

im-a-scientist!!! i'm kinda into the candy goth thing too. its cute! but i also get my look from a bunch of different styles. it just gets me mad when people call me emo when i wear jeans with stuff written on them and a hoodie! those jeans don't even look emo and i just like hoodies cause their comfy!

I pretty much agree with everything lunar schemer said, mainly that depression is different from emo, my father had depression when i was very young and seeing as depression is congenital, my sister has also suffered from it and it almost destroyed our family, depression is an illness not a fashion accesory.
I also agree with Surprise Bukkake Ninja, I hate it when every goddamn emo claims to be gay/bisexual and it's because whilst i am not one of my dearest friends is biswexual and another is gay and all these attention seekers have discredited them and thei sexuality, making it some kind of game.

You know, it seems like being "gay" is becoming a trend to, because of the Emo trend. At least, that's when I noticed it started happening. All the little Emo kids pretending to stand up for gay rights by wearing rainbows and saying things like
"OMG we're gay we support gay peoples cause they are lyke hot and so are we123141iw4i5!!!!"
It's annoying. I have gay friends, and it's a true insult. Half of the people that claim to be 'gay', I've SEEN them kissing girls. If you ask they'd say, "Oh, I can kiss her because I'm gay". It's like, wtf. Don't pretend to be something you're not for once.
