I liked writing when I was in first grade...but I gave up when others were so much better than me. I began reading more when I was in fourth grade(thank you Harry Potter!) and in fifth grade I was encouraged by my teacher. After that I kep having fantasies I loved and I had to write them down! But I have to say, I didn't really start writing well until freshmen year when I put out a Greek Mythology fic and a Inu fic. Neither have I updated since I started my original fiction story sweatdrop

I started writing seriously almost a year ago.

I mean "seriously", because up until then, I just wrote when there was nothing better to do and/or my piano wasn't calling out to me. Back then I used to write just day to day stories, like diary entries, or little "one shots".

Now I'm writing mostly romance ((but of course)), and supernatural. And its funny how it doesn't matter how much I try to stay away from the romance genre, eventually one of my characters ends up going down that direction.

Also, by "serious", I mean I actually sit down at least an hour a day and just write, because I want to improve, and maybe even get published later on. And its "serious" because I have readers that are counting on me to finish chapters on my fanfic... which is still strange to me, but I'm happy enough to do it.

The fanfic. I'm talking about is for a young adult novel by Annette Curtis Klause, called Blood and Chocolate. Here's the link if anyone cares to check it out, and review: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3103995/1/

I don't know how long I've been writing, but I do remember that in fourth grade, our teacher let us write stories every Friday and read them in front of the class. Most of my stories were about wolves, and I loved writing them. After a while, a few of the kids in my class actually started writing fanfiction with my characters .__.

Eventually I got sick of coming up with episodes and stopped writing about them. Then in fifth grade I wrote some crappy werewolf story, but never finished it. After a while I got over my wolf obsession. I stopped writing in sixth grade, and started back up again in seventh/eighth because I was bored.

I used to go in for recess just to write xDD and my werewolf story is still on the servers back in the elementary school.

EDIT: OH YES, I have forgotten. First Romance was a craptastic Naruto fanfic in the sixth grade. Yes, I know I siad I didn't write anything in that grade. I wrote it over the summer, and decided I was SO craptastic that I would not write anything more. v___v

I started writing when I was really young. gonk Much like Kitsune, my mom still has the original copies of those illustrations laying somewhere around my house, too...except there are no ponies in mine.

Well, after that, I quit for a while...wrote small things in-between, but that’s about it.

Then, right at the beginning of 2005, my friend started talking about writing a novel. eek We picked and plotted together until we each had something we liked. I even got five—six hundred words into the story before I laid it to rest, but I do swear that those collages of “sentences” is worse than the things I wrote when I was six....

After that incident, I stumbled upon Inuyasha fan-fiction and took up doing that.... It was kind of aimless, honestly; I had no earthly idea what I was doing. I just...thought stuff up, threw it in the document, and posted it on the Internet, and it was amazing it had a plot hidden behind it at all.

Since then, I got a lot better, thankfully. I learned how to try to produce something decent, and how vital staying within the plot’s orbit actually is. mrgreen

Now I hope to maybe—just maybe—get something published one day. It’s all a matter of getting up my nerve, though, and getting something I think is good enough to be bought.

Since I could read and write, I've been creating my own tales. I distinctly remember in grade six...we had to write a short story, but my story well-exceeded the required word limit. Ever since then, I cannot meet the word limit in school assignments....they always go well over! I like to write too much!

As for actual novel-stories, over one-hundred-pages-stories....I've been writing them since grade eight, but I can never finish my stories. I always get hooked on a new idea, and then start that, only to stop a quarter way through with another story idea............sometimes I wouldn't even get past the planning stage before I had a new story idea to pursue.

I must have at least 50 stories in the making, all planned out, that I haven't finished. No kidding; there must be over 50. It's incredible. If only I could finish (or start) them, get them published.....what a great author I'd be!!!!

*Note* This is only a dream of mine, unlikely to occur*
