Gaia is a very diverse planet, having many religions, sects, nationalities, cultures and languages in one huge melting pot. Each has their own strengths, weakness and history, each with a fine sense of nationalism and connection to one another. There are many races that inhabit the planet and have their OWN involvement with the Goddess' War.:

Atua are your basic monsters in Gaia. They range anywhere from the bipedal minotaurs to the half Horse-half Human Centaurs. Some may even speak the language of humans and disapprove of being classified as such.

Demi-humans

Offspring or decendants of other races, these individuals are primarily human in nature but display traits of other races. There is no set appearance for these people - traits vary both between and within the subspecies - but they are always clearly definable for what they are. For example, a decentant of half-breed of a daemon may have horns or a tail, but would not show enough traits of a daemon to be recognized as one. These individuals are usually displaced since the purebred races tend to look down on them.

Dwarves

A race of miners and smiths, the dwarves tend to live in underground cities away from other civilizations. However, it is not uncommon for dwarves to leave these cities and venture into the world, either as adventurers or as merchants and smiths. They are short in stature - usually only about three feet tall. This does not hinder them, though, as they have great physical strength. Most work as warriors or weaponsmiths.

Vampire/Vampyre

These undead are some of the most threatening in all of Gaia. Vampire are bound by the night and have an extreme allergic reaction to ultraviolet light, more than a few moments exposure will kill them. Vampire have amazing speed and agility, as well as strength. Naturally, they gain they’re power from age and blood, at first all a vampire can do is form simple weapons from his or her own blood so long as it is touching bare skin, and the ability to drain blood from another humanoid to regain health.

Nosferatu

Nosferatu are simply pure blood vampires, and are not as tightly bound to the night. This comes at the price of not regaining health from a drained victim, but instead more blood to use as weaponry.
