98 AD
-In this time, history and myth are one. Some of what you've heard and seen in the world history books have been eroded and washed by the hands of men who fear that the truth will leak out. Well, this epic story is part of that truth.
Dragons, dark knights, angels, and magic are the real thing, over time though these things have disappeared into the depths of mystic space and time. Once upon a time, (this is how many of your "true epic tales" start out), the world as we know it did not look like or was called "Earth", but "Gaia"; a world of myth, magic, and tales of knights slaying dragons. Ancient civilizations, species not known of today, vast lands, and great cities--all of which converted this newly born planet. The powerful kingdoms of Evangelion (fire), Dragoneir (wind), Zion (light), Oceania (water), Terra (earth), and Kumori (shadow) ruled the many races of people on Gaia. These nations gave rise to hope, freedom, and law over the terrain, and protected the very essence of the planet, the legendary Chrono Crystals of Elements!
Gaia itself has a long history of pure and unburdened peace, which could fill a hundred historical texts, but even the cleanest world is not fully free from war and bloodshed. Many sorcerers, kings, and knights have sought to take the divine powers of the Chrono Crystals away from the people, to fulfill their own lustful needs and desires. Battles waged across centuries, all over the land for this supremacy and many a battalion has fought and searched for the crystals; many innocent and loyal people have lost their lives to protect them. 100 years before 98 AD, (2 BC), the huge war began-and for 100 years it lasted. Six heroes rose from the ashes of the flamed ruins, each with a crystal in hand and a weapon to fight.
Ramada Zeidrich, an ordinary soldier from the Icarus Mainland joined the Royal Guard of the Vangel Empire and allied with the king to take the country's Fire Ruby and destroy the source of the evil, only known as the Black Devil Magus, and save Gaia from further chaos. Willingly along with Kagno the fierce Dragoon, Iris the mysterious Elvin Mage, Hiryu the Ninja, Balder the Rune Knight, and Aurora the Queen of Zion, these mighty warriors banished the vile Black Devil Magus and restored ultimate serenity among the people.
Now once again, the light of the Crystals begins to shine dimly, sensing the unbroken rise of danger, which will befall Gaia again. No one believed it at first, but after my Ramada's vanishing and the death of the king, the races began to doubt their decision and the destiny of the world. Our roles have taken a different turn, a different route. This new conflicting war, the "Goddess' War", may change the flow of Gaia's history, and our lives, forever....
