Biography:
Grumpy, stern, obnoxious and just downright mean, Ark Gaballanie is the most feared knight of his regiment. Known as the "Blood Seraphian, or Lucifer, the Angel of Blood" by both his comrades and his enemies, Ark always seemed to be the only one left alive after a fierce battle...some say it was a curse, others say it was pure luck and his absolute steel and cold emotions, and ruthlessness in battle. Not much is known about Ark's past, but presently he has the job of being part of Lady Aurora's Angelic Guard as a Seraphian Crusader, taking the title of Archangel and retainer to the Holy Throne of Zion from his father, Micheal. There are very few people who can withstand Ark's abusive and violent behaviour and cruelness of words...only Aurora, his brother and his loyal followers can get close enough to him to even say "hi" without his coldness. As known, Ark has a fiery temper and tends to snap at people before they could get a word in edgewise. The two things Ark cannot stand is weakness and stupidity. Aurora, for some reason, is in love with him, and his brother, Gabriel, looks up to him. He cannot stand the sight of either of them.

Ark at one point in time was a kindly soul who loved poetry and nature, a personailty close to his brother's. When he turned 12 years of age, the 100 Years' War began and his parents were killed in a raid. He witnessed their deaths first hand and lost his mind. He stole the sacred rapier Sky Render from an ancient and cursed shrine in the center of the Magic City of Ruxline, heading out to the very spot of the bloody battle and began to destroy everything in pure rage...ally or enemy, and within 30 minutes of time...everyone...and everything...was gone. He himself caused the bloodiest and most violent battle in the war and only him and Gabriel were left standing. Rumor has it that Ark's once golden wings were stained with the blood of 10000 soldiers, thus turning the blessed feathers to a crimson red. He became a Seraphian Crusader after his 20 years self-secluded exile from his home country and came back a newly changed Ark Gaballanie.

Biography:

The self-esteemed, strong willed, and powerful Dragoon, Kino Rydersha is a highly popular celebrity among the women of Buermecia and highly feared among the men. Her tough, cold-hearted, cynical, and quick-to-the-point attitude makes Kino a perfect war veteran. She not only has a clean cut miltary record, but is the first and only female in the higher Dragoon ranks and even the King of Buermecia, Lord Tiamat's personal bodyguard. Once an orphan and a thief, Kino's step-father Kagno Rydersha found her in the forest below the Tower of Ba-bil while on a hunting trip with his eldest son, Kaiser. After finding out about young Kino's amazing natural ability to summon Magick and to transform into Dragons, he took it upon himself to accept the gifted child into the family.

The Rydersha family is the most honored and respected and feared clan throughout the Eastern Territories, blessed with children of high intellect and power. The clan has both raised and trained strong military combantants, (Dragoons, Samurais, Generals, Shoguns, etc.), who has had their names imprinted forever in Gaia's history, (Kagno himself was one of the heroes from the 100 Years' War.) Their techniques, tactics and discipline far surpasses even that of the Military Academies of Vangel, only their secrets kept inside the family bloodline. Kino is the first to learn from them outside that bloodline, personally excused to be trained by Kagno himself, for he had saw great resourcefulness and potential in the girl. Unfortunately, the men of the family (especially Kaiser) do not approve of a female learning the Art of War.

Kino, Kaiser, and two of his loyal followers make up the Four Elite Deities, a group of young, but divinely powerful warriors who command the four divisions of the Arcadian Sky Dragoons and whom can also use their incredible jumping abilities to destroy their opponents. Kasier is the general and leader of the group, the colonel of the Calvary Division, then Raijin-the lieutenant commander of the Army Division, Fujin-admiral of the Navy Division, then lastlyKino as the lieutenant of the Aerial Division. Kino is one woman who completely dispises men and hates to take orders from them, so her and Kaiser tend to frequently get into bouts because of his arrogance and her major flaw, lackadiasalness. Kasier always rushes into battles without a proper plan, so Kino always has to come to his rescue. In truth, Fujin and Raijin wants Kino to be leader, but they know when to keep their mouths shut....

Biography:

The youngest Paladin to ever serve under King Odin of Vangel, the largest and most militant/weaponry related Kingdom of Fire, Evangelion, Maduin Zeidrich not only gained his title because of his hard work and dedication to the Royal Guard as a soldier and his long military record, but because of his ties to King Odin XIII and his valiant bloodlines, his parents Iris Angus and Ramada Zeidrich, hero and heroine of the 100 Years' War. His kind-hearted and courageous nature along with his drop-dead handsome looks make him a perfect and important symbol to the Royal Guard and an idol of the Kingdom, his popularity exceeding even that of King Odin. He's an excellent ally and fighter in battle, using both his father's almost psychic abilities with a blade and his elvin heritage at the art of sorcery to uphold victory--the perfect combatant and knight. He is always ready to protect and serve, holding close to him his father's parting gifts--Ramada's holy sword Ragnarok and his Paladin Armor.

After the mysterious death of King Odin, Queen Freya's short bloody reign of the country and her suicide and the disappearance of his father, the king's evil brother, Emperor Shamash Ishtar, took the throne from the rightful heir, Prince Xander, legitimate son of the King. From that point forward, all ties that Vangel had with the rest of the world was closed off, and the once beautiful castle city became gothic and constantly covered by dark thunderclouds created by the sorcery of the Emperor. Emperor Ishtar then began needless wars with the other countries to gain control of their Chrono Crystals with the help of Vangel's Fire Ruby and his "master". When Maduin least expected it, his home was ransacked, his sword Ragnarok taken from him and himself captured, forced by the Emperor's orders to take up the Dark Sword and become a Shadow Knight...giving up his hard earned title of Paladin for his grandmother and girlfriend's lives.

As the years passed, Maduin ran into his old friend and rival from years past Slephinr, (whom he doesn't remember to have been his friend, but Slephinr knows), who was hired to becomes the Emperor's new Vigilante Rune Knight and the owner of the demonic blade Masamune. After their mission to capture the Wind Emerald from the Kingdom of Buermecia, Maduin decided at that terrible moment to rebel against the Emperor and give the crystal back...but in the end, Slephinr revealed his true intentions and evil ambitions, betraying Maduin for the "Emperor's honor" and threw him overboard the Crimson Flame Rose (Vangel's huge battle airship) to his doom, beginning his quest to overthrow the evil Emperor's rule over Evangelion and to have his revenge against Slephinr. He goes out to search for other allies and to rally the other Kingdoms against Vangel to achieve world peace.

Biography: Slephinr is the true embodiment of evil. Is only ambition?: to rule the world by gaining the Six Chrono Crystals and reviving the Forbidden One, Ultima Dragon. His only Master?: Nemesis, the Goddess of Destruction. He is her puppet, and his puppet is the Emperor, (unbeknownst to him). Once he has his hands on the Crystals, his objective is to take over the Empire and assassinate the Emperor. But who is in his way? Maduin Zeidrich. Once they were buddies and war veterans together along with Kagno's son Kaiser and Maduin's friend Dekar, but after the years of his betrayal to the Vangelian Army and his disappearance, Slephinr has once again arisen, a new breed of man-a killer with a thirst for power. He will annahilate anything and ANYONE in his way to his goal, and he will stop at NOTHING to achieve it. This is the ultimate villian. What is odd about him though, is two things. One, he reminds Maduin of his father, facial wise, although Sleph has a VERY pale complex and a taller, more linkier body than Ramada. Two, he has a personality similar to the Devil Magus. Three, he carries the Devil's infamous Sword of Darkness, which "feed from the souls of humans", Masamune. It was once said Masamune was a Sword of Holiness, blessed by a Holy Monk and smithen by a famous Oriental Blacksmith of the same name, but once the Devil Magus placed the once holy blade into the Black Primordial Abyss of Souls...it became contanminated with the thirst of a demon. Slephinr and Masamune are as one being...both having the thirst of bloodshed and domination.

Biography: The son of an infamous blacksmith and bounty hunter, Neco Graves is the product of early attempts of creating an army of artifically assimulated Demi-Humans and Deamons through gene splicing. It is unknown what time era he is from, but according to scientists, the time of this technological advancement he is connected with was around 1000 BC. He is the failed and ultimately first test subject--one of many Zoanthrope Experiments, (historians, not evolutionists believe that such clans as the Nerid, Sab`ren and Dragoni have stemed from such horrific chimera manipulation). Neco was hence thrown out into The Golden Plains because of his flaw. His mental status was tested as greatly imbalanced, resulting in some amnesia, depression and schizophrenia. He is the compound of a Human and an animal, having the claws, teeth, eyes, ears, tail, strength, speed/dexterity and senses of a red timber wolf.

He is very shy and very quiet, only appearing out in the open at night. Thanks to his friend and companion, the Moon God Fenrir (also his GS), he has the ability to transform into a wolf or werewolf at will, but at the cost of becoming somewhat of a ghost, living eternally to guard the Moon Shrine from outside intruders. Unlike most Lycans and Deamons, Neco doesn't feed on Human flesh when he becomes a werewolf, only nuts and berries and animal flesh. Even though he doesn't eat them, Neco does not like Humans and when they stumble into his territory--the accursed Phantom Forest, he scares them away with harmless pranks and traps.

Neco has a hard time opening up to people as well, keeping most of his suggestions and feelings to himself. Even after teaming up, he does not fully trust them completely. The only thing Neco wishes to do is to save a girl who helped him escape from the labs when he was younger. She died while trying to save him and her body rests inside the Shrine, still as youthful as it was years ago. In order to save Katherine, Neco must find the legendary Soul Herb. He believes this task to be his only purpose in life. He spends his days watching over her peacefully and with deep remorse.

Biography:

Once a famous Dancer and Magi from her home country of Atlantis, Tsunami Nereid is a very energetic, stylish, mischievous, naturistic, sort-of-a-klutz kid--wise beyond her years of the world. As the youngest decendant of a long line of Water Oracles, the ex-mermaid had a pretty much carefree, easy life, summoning the advice of the Dragon God of Oceans, Leviathan by day and dnacing to the rhythmic tribal music of her people by night. Female mermaids often thought the child's wandering mind and selfish attitude would ruin her someday, but the men thought her strangeness was cool and sexy. Tsunami is the type of child who was very cute and stylish with those her age, but very disrespectful to her elders--except her grandmother.

Tsunami, as a fact, loves attention. Her hyper-active and oblivious blond-like attitude gives her much of that. Kids and teenagers admire her personality dysfunction, but the adults rebuke it. Her final prank cost her her home and femme fetale when she embarrised King Posidon at his homecoming ceremony after the 100 Years' War. During the celebration, Tsunami decided to take it upon herself to set off the island fireworks prematurely...resulting in the burning down of half the island's jungle lands around their Lagoon and the King's son getting injured. Queen Lazuli striped Tsunami of everything--including her very heritage--and banished her to Crystal Lake in the middle of Phantom Forest. Before being sent there by the guards, Tsunami insulted His Majesty even further by saying she slept with his son. The Royal Family of Atlantis, now furious, transformed Tsunami into a Kappa, a female water imp, and exiled her from Atlantis...forever.

Biography:

Cool, calm, and collective, Ryoko-rei is a natural ninja and assassin. Originally from the Yokoshima District where the lifestyle there is similar to modern-day Hong Kong and Feudal Japan--Ryoko-rei was born into a family of druglords and for-hire-thieves trained in Ninjitsu and Kagedo, or, Way of the Shadows. As aliased Kage no Aka Sakura by those who do survive her onslaughts and watches the dancing petals of black cherry blossoms upon her arrival and departure, her cool exterior hides the fiery spirit inside. Shoguns in her country pay big bucks for her services--for she is well skilled and can kill as fast and as silent as a night breeze. When she is not on a mission, she takes time away at her mountain home in isolation--brewing ceremonial tea and clipping her prized bamboo and bonsai trees.

Ryoko-rei has an attitude very similar to Kino's in certain situations. She only speaks when spoken to and always cut to the chase, never beating around the bush and she outright hates liars. In fact, her and Kino are best friends and rivals--teaching each other their skills and techniques and telling stories of their day at the local coffee shops when they're in the same vacinity. Kino and Ryoko-rei became enemies only after she lent her powers to Ishtar as a spy and assassin. She has one major flaw---the smell and sight of blood drives her senses wild and almost into a bloodthristy rage, causing many problems on her missions....
