We are going to try to initiate an item boycott.
Get the word out to not buy sealeds until near the end of the month, unless they can find it for 5.5K or lower.

I know.
Especially after the month before last.
Everyone was paying 8k for sealeds.
And it turned out to be really crappy items, in my opinion.
Anyways, the price of them now is only like 4k.
So people who actually baught them for that absurd price really lost out.

I was just looking at that... I can't believe what some of these people want for a letter. I've been offline for a while, and I don't remember it being this bad.

I didn't buy any this month. That was probably a big mistake on my part, but whatever.

Is it really an issue, though? They'll drop by the end of the month, which is an even better solution to the problem.

That's half the problem of the sealeds at this point. People are given a shorter time frame to buy the 'sealeds' in and *have* to be able to actually open their sealeds for their two items each month. Same with buying them on release day -- people *have* to have them the minute they come out.

For a lot of people, it's a popularity thing. For a few people, it's a collecting thing. For a few other people, it's a money thing (stash some sealeds, wait a year, get rich). And for the small few who really lack common sense, it's a paranoia thing -- 'omg wat if teh itam iz inflated 2morro?!'. And, yes, sadly... I've actually talked to some people who think the items will be inflated before they're even out of the donation phase.

I'm actually a big supporter of the items coming out the 15th -- this helps popular items actually go down in price, and unpopular items go even lower in price.

Think of it this way -- if the item is popular, then more people are going to donate for it. People used to have from the 25th (roughly) until the end of the month to buy up items they know are popular -- 5 or 6 days. Now, they have half the month to buy popular items via donating -- 15 or 16 days. This means that more of the item will be in circulation, and simple supply and demand will make the items go low -- there will be far, far more of the item in supply than there will be demand for them. Not to mention the number of sellers wanting to make a quick buck by donating and immediately selling the item.

I hate to be pessimistic, but... especially for this month, I think that if the release date had not been the 15th, we'd be looking at 18k and 19k Dark Halos, instead of 12k and 13k ones.
