Mae_Astra As Alex stood in line, she couldn't help but wish she had found a midevil spell that had something to do with 'annoying flerts and how to get rid of them' she sighed and watched as the lunch lady piled a large helping of 'Meatloaf' onto her plate. After humming a little tune that made the woman at the register waver her away with out paying, she walked back to the table. She didn't want to sit next to Vero... "Jack, do you mind moving over a tad? you know so I could sit next to you?" she asked, almost 'babyish' but she just wanted to feel his shoulder against hers as she tried to force the 'food' down her throat. She was getting far to thin, she could see her bones in her thighs and that wasn't good, she was starting to starve, that was why she had to eat the mystery meat. Vero scowled at her as she requested a seat next to Jack, but Jack was all too happy to scoot over so she could sit next to him, and almost on top of him, she noticed unhappily. "Sure," Jack complied, scooting over, but not too much, as she could sit next to him. Close. "Name's Veronica. Yo." Vero drawled as the girl introduced herself, trying not to look too upset at Alex.

" I know..." Alex said semi cheerfuly. " I had class with you last year remember?" she said...the question didn't need answering, she knew Vero wouldn't remember her any way in her classes, and why was Vero acting as if she didn't know who Alex was? She was Alex Brook...every one knew her.
"Thanks Jack." she whispered softly as she leaned close and started eating the goo on her plate. "Sorry about the lunch...it isn't that apitising...but i am starving...i bet NightShade is trying to starve me to death." she said truethfuly. "What do you think? Do you think i am looking anorexic to you?" she held out her almost bony hand to Jack to let him inspect it.
As she did so, she leaned close to his ear, so Vero wouldn't hear her and whispered. "Jack, i had a very bad nightmare today..." she spoke softly. "It involved you, Jodi, my sister, Takaho, me...and the teachers ...NightShade ate every one...killed every one, I was the only one left...you died..." she said painfully. She backed away slightly so she could look into his eyes.
"Jack...I-I don't want anything to happen to you...if something horrible happened..." she started only to take her hand back and cradle her face against the table. "I don't know what I would do...I would go mad...I would really go mad and kill every one...Please, just...be careful and watch over yourself." she said earnestly. She lifted her face to his and looked deeply in his eyes, her face streaked with tears. She didn't care if Vero saw or heard, she just wanted Jack safe.
"I really care about you...i don't want to lose you,"

Jodi smiled at Vero. I'm going to get some lunch. Jodi looks around the table finding Alex in tears. Anyone want anything other then mystery meat? I'm teleporting to town to get some real food, I'm paying.

Jack's eyes widened as she told him about the dream, then broke down in tears. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her aginst him in a reassuring hug. "Ssshhh, shhh, it was just a nightmare, Princess." He stroked her hair sympathetically. "Do you want me to take you to the counselor?" He had no real intention of taking her to the counselor's office, knowing full well that it would do little good. The counselors were probably all demons, too. He'd take her to the loft, so she could have a little privacy and get away form the glares and curious looks of people passing by.
Vero was one of those glaring. She was fairly good at hiding it, however, though her lips were pursed and she was instead looking intently at the wall to her right.
"Anything is better than this trash," she said to Jodi, ignoring her best the girl that had just had a breakdown in Jack's arms. She riffled around in her purse and brought up a five-dollar bill, which she handed to Jodi. Anything fat free or diet. "Thanks, hun."

"ok" Jodi smiles taking the five-dollar bill, I'll be right back. walking over she gives Alex a pat on the back and teleports to town.

Jodi teleported back to the table. "Hi" Jodi greeted. "Here I got you fat free chicken salad, and a diet coke. Oh and here you change." Jodi handed the food and two one-dollar bills to Vero. Setting down in the chair across from Vero, she got out her Sushi, Soy sauce, and set down her cup of Lavander tea. Jodi looked over at Alex and Jack, and back to Vero. "So, Did I miss anything?" Jodi smiled.

Alex felt safe in Jack's arms, she knew he wouldn't really take her to the counclers...but the thought of him taking care of her once again made her smile. The bell rang for the begining of class and she looked up at him saddly.
"It's ok..." she muffled through worse then this...it seemed to Alex that ever since Jack showed up...things had just gotten harder to deal with...and then to ad the fact that he was there to make it better.... she just didn't want that to be taken away. "I should get to class any way..." she said. She leaned forward and kissed the corner of his jaw, a little to selfconsious to kiss him right there in the cafe, with Vero glaring at her like she had killed some one. Alex reluctently stood, taking a hold of Jack's hand and slipping her back pack onto her shoulder.
"Here..." she said, trying to turn her saddened face to a smile. She lifted her Midevil magic spells book and handed it to him. "Read through this...it is very interesting." she said as she smiled. She had marked a few spells, and some how wanted him to see them. She held his hand longer then she needed, yet letting go and started to leave.
"Returne my book ok, Jack?" she said with a soft laugh. "Bye Jodi, thanks for the offer of luch hun!" And she turned and walked away, ignoring Vero as best she could. Her jealousy fuming inside her as she thought of Vero sitting next to Jack, her Jack, and trying to be close...that was not aloud. She would let it be though, if Jack was fine with it...who said Alex was in charge of who he sat with? She would just have to get over her jealousy some how.
Alex wiped the remaining tears from her eyes as she ran off to history.

Jodi waved goodbye to Alex, and looked around."I should head to call too." Jodi smiled "Bye Jack, Bye Vero it was nice meeting." with those parting words Jodi teleported to Drama.

Nadeshiko entered the cafe to get herself some breakfast to eat. That was when she noticed the same boy who was "Anonymous" a few feet away from her and eating with those other two. She looked over at the boy and watched as he laughed with his fellow friends. They seem to be enjoying themselves. Why did she had to refuse his offer to hang out with him?
...Plus, he is kinda cute... Nadeshiko blinked and shook her head of that thought and payed for her breakfast after the cafeteria lady stopped bugging her to stop dazing off and pay.
She took a look around the room and found a table that was not used and sat down. Her table happened to be about two tables away from his. She looked up at him and noticed that he was also looking at her. Their eyes met and they looked away.
Nadeshiko fiddled around with her food and peered up slightly to see if he was still looking. Luckily, no. He was also fiddling with his food and his two friends are trying to get his attention. She lightly giggled... And realized she had giggled from the last time she can remember. How long has it been really? Five, six, seven years? She can't quite remember. Nonetheless, it was a pretty good feeling.

Nadeshiko had finished eating her breakfast and headed for the exit. Before she could reach out for the handle, a blood red rose floated before her. She looked around to see who would be the idiot trying to flirt with her, but then realized it was Mr. Anonymous.
He had his finger pointing out to the rose as he kept it levitating there before her. When he realized that she was looking his way, he flinched and turned out, having the rose drop down to her feet.
Nadeshiko looked down at the rose and to him. Back and forth. She picked up the rose and examined it. It was very well bloomed. Not too bloomed at least. She found those to look pretty ugly. Closed up blooms looked prettier for her. She put on a small smile and held the rose in her hand as she used her free hand to open the exit door and leave the cafeteria.
"Mr. Anonymous" looked back at the door and lightly smiled himself...
