Momma likes taking me shopping for new clothes every weekend. She gets her own stuff too, but going to the shopping district in Durem wearing my tutu gets me lots of attention. That's fun. I had no idea so many people in Durem liked ballerinas. Momma calls me "her little Odette", which I love. She got me this Swan Lake poster for my room. I stare at it every night.

A small box is left on Lu's doorstep with a note attatched to it.The Note Hiya Lu! Paestri had somehow gotten herself into the stash of squishy-thingum materials and made something for Gyre. Hope she likes it n.n Sincerely, Huni and Paestri

"AWW! Look at this!" Gyre squealed happily, tossing the plush up and down in her hands as she walked back inside. "It's from Pae! I have to see her again! I haven't seen anyone but Dare since I've grown..."
Luciel poked her head out from the kitchen. "You should go to the HQ again, then. Maybe you'll find someone?"
Gyre nodded. "Capital idea..." But, when should she go? She clung to the plushie.

Legs flew high into the air, white tutu fluttering along behind. A flurry of snow and a twirl of the wind sent a swan feather into the swirl in the air. Gyre's arms made an arc above her head as she practiced her ballet in the middle of the living room. Luciel sat, admiring and trying to sketch at the same time, in the puffiest chair. Callix giggled and watched from the couch, where everyone could see him (and make sure he stayed out of trouble.)
The batlike Fa'e was enthralled with the dance, whether it was because of the feathers, the movement, or the sheer sight of it, no one knew for sure. His bright green eyes were locked on Gyre as if mesmerized. Lu saw him out of the corner of her eye and had to comment.
"'S odd. Little guy's just...staring."
Gyre stopped briefly for a rest and some water, which sat in a container on the coffeetable in front of the couch where Callix lay. She smiled at him, and he returned it in the form of a goofy grin. He was in a very agreeable mood. Perhaps because he had something to interest him?
"He's cute. I don't mind." the swan said as she began to stretch for another round of practice. Up, down, left, up went her legs again, and Lu returned to sketching. A dancer's was a hard body to capture correctly...

Journal,
Many things have been going on around the house lately. My Keeper has given birth to a baby girl, whom I adore. Sometimes she tries to bite, but that's what all babies do. Callix grew since last I saw, and suddenly, too, just like we Legends do. Sometimes I have to babysit both of them, but it's fine. Callix really likes my dress. I've been practicing more lately, but I need to get out of the house. When Lu gets home, I hope I can go over to a friend's house or something. That would be a nice change of pace.

Diary,
The celebration of "Christmas" went lovely. Nephilim and Callix both were very happy with their gifts, as was I with mine. The man named Santa gave me a new pair of slippers! Along with some wood and carving tools to practice mask-making with. I want to one day create a mask for everyone in the house, and now I have the material with which to do so. Lu thinks I would be very good at it, and says Santa had me on his "good" list for a very long time.
Whatever that means. I didn't ask, though. It was very nice to wake up early in the morning to unwrap our presents. After we finally got the tree to stand up on its own, we decorated it with blinking lights and cheerful ornaments made of plastic and glass. Lu took many pictures of it, too, to print out sometime and hang on our wall. I especially wanted pictures of the stuff known as tinsel. I happened to take some left over from decorating and wrapped it around my tutu. It made a wonderful sparkle when I twirled. Callix loved it too.
We are also going to celebrate the new year with family gatherings and such. Lu says I need to tidy my room before true preparations can begin, so off I go!

Diary,
Things have been relatively quiet around here. I do miss everyone very much. Perhaps someday soon I'll visit the Legend headquarters to see if anyone else is around. Lu says a holiday called Valentine's Day is fast approaching; a holiday where friends and loved ones give each other chocolate and presents to show their love.
Lu suggested I make something for everyone, and I thought it might be a good idea to make mashs for everyone I know. But they won't have the magic mine do, but they'll still mean something. I think it would be a wonderful gift, and an opportunity to see everyone again.
