Quest time!
A new Splashworld has opened up on the outer end of the city, in a not-so-safe neighbourhood. But, that matters not to little Jenivive! Since spotting an advertisement about this wonderous place, she has been absolutely itching to go.
It is opening day - no one can bear make Jenivive wait any longer! - and the crowds are horrendous. As to be expected, perhaps. Go through the day's events, encountering at least two other [non-Legend, can be NPC] children at separate incidences, and visiting a minimum of three attractions. Bring as many family members as you'd like. How the day twists and turns is up to you!
Good luck, young Legend!

[Quest] A sight to see. She may not have been able to read the caption, but the sight of a giant splash of water attracted the infant's eye and drew from her a gurgle of delight. It appeared on the page of a paper Breena brought to the hut. It was beautiful, cyan with spots of sky blue, and white like the crest of a wave. Oh, Jenivive could not resist it, and reached out to grip the advert between pudgy hands. The paper was not the desired consistency, and seemed, in fact, to possess not a little bit of wet. Aiming to fix this, perhaps, Jenivive brought the advertisement to her pursed lips and proceeded to get it rather satisfactorily slobbered upon. It was in this state, and still attached to her mouth, that Breena and Wiralu managed to find it at the end of the girl's lesson.
It had become their own little ritual at the end of lessons. Breena would sit for a while with Jenivive, Wiralu would begin cooking the evening meal, and after a spell, her young student would return to terrorise Eydis for another evening. This one marked a break in the routine, as the dark-eyed child took the time to peruse the paper her protegee was defiling. "Found it, Jeni? We're gonna go. Me and you, no blue brats. We're gonna see what you're made of!" It had not failed to escape Breena's notice that children of the breed she and Jenivive fell from often had gifts, and any fool could see the infant was tied to the water. The advertisement for such a place, filled with water and made for children, opening in Port Gino, seemed rather too providential to ignore.
"Wiralu?" she called into the kitchen, "can I take Jeni out this weekend? We'll take a maid or something, as an adult." The last was a lie, one that was likely necessary to allay the old woman's qualms. Breena was a model student within the Luna village, but Wiralu was regretfully tied to Lady Siri, Breena's guardian and often witness. The assent was given, the plans made, and it served only to wait for the arranged time.

[Quest] Waves abound. The sun was high in the blue heavens when Breena, Jenivive bundled against her small hip, sidled her way into the water park. The place was awash with people, but both Legends had no eye for them. Jenivive's eyes flicked from one attraction to the next, forcefully ripping themselves from some of the larger. Breena's eyes stayed focused on the infant, and paused on the water but briefly. She did not much like admitting weakness, but water was not her strong suit, given the nature of her entry into Lady Siri's household. She was stronger than that now, she reminded herself, and with a dramatic exhale, strode out to look for a pool marked as safe for infants, and a spot in it that was shaded from the view of the nosy children dotted about.
***
Jenivive lay back, her floatation device-bedecked arms spread from her body like wings, her legs dipping below the surface of the warm (suspiciously warm, to Breena's toes) water. She seemed to bob on a current seperate from the rest of the pool, and soon caught the attention of a rather fat little three year old, who made his way over and peremptorily poked her in the stomach. "What'cha?" he demanded of herself. Jenivive, rather a happy tyke, eyed the boy idly, while continuing to bob in place. Breena, however, glared at him with such force even the stupidest of children would have cowed away. This, however, was a singularly inept youngster. He repeated the action and question. His only answer from Jenivive was a quiet; "Jeni." However, his answer from the older of the two girls was rather succinct. He was dressed in a pair of blue and yellow splashed bathing shorts, and a pair of water wings. He was picked up by the latter, marched to a point where a fat woman appeared to have mothered him, and now be sleeping, and dropped at her feet. "Train that," Breena barked, before returning to her young charge, scooping her up, and bearing her off to another attraction.
***
Breena was almost pressed to call herself afraid. She looked up, and above her, suspended, seemed an entire ocean. This also extended to either side of her. Wherever she looked, she saw only water, light winking wetly at her from above. Her heart beat a little faster, her breath came a little more raggedly, but she was not the type to cry. It was not in her nature. Instead, she squeezed her eyes shut and allowed the clapping and laughing Jenivive her fill, before she could flee the aquarium section, back to the sun outside.
Jenivive was entirely blind to her mentor's suffering, seeing only the beautiful, beloved water supsended all around her. It was like seeing magic, and she wanted to be part of it! She reached out a hand to touch the stuff, but found it cold, and hard. That wasn't what water was meant to be like! It was meant to be wet! And move around your fingers, sliding in and out between each one, as it danced along. She stroked the hard, water, before holding her hand still on it, and cocking her head. On the other side of the hard stuff, the small portion of water opposite to her hand was flowing as if it wanted to be between her fingers. It was moving against the rest of the huge mass of blue, moving for her. And she grinned, continuing to do so even as Breena walked her out, rather faster than normal, Jeni suspected.

[Quest] Dark Skies. The sky was not as blue as it had been when they arrived. The clouds had begun to band together, creating a grey tint to the previous sunshine. Still, as they made their way to the big fountain, the girls ignored the warning overhead. Breena was not fool enough to take Jenivive on the rides, and not willing to swim herself, in the pools bigger than the infant pond. No, instead Jenivive could show her worth in the fountain. Breena had noted a strange skill in the infant pond, and wanted the baby to prove herself before being taken home. It was no use expending energy on a kid that wasn't going to pay off.
The fountain was made up of a large pond, cobbled both around and in, and with three huge spouts of water in the centre. Even standing near it, the water flung into the air caught at one's clothes and hair, and as Breena wandered to it and placed Jenivive into the pond, the black hair of each sparkled with drops. Jenivive in her teal bathing suit, and Breena in her purple dress, were a pair to behold, one pale as death, the other glowing healthily, yet in synch somehow. The older girl's white hands danced through the water, long fingers rippling as the liquid grabbed at them, and Jenivive followed her movements. Amusingly, Jenivive's fingers remained stil, and instead the water danced around them, noted by her companion. Eventually, that amusement tired the infant, and she toddled further into the waist-high depths, to investigate the three pillars of water central to the place.
Another child danced amongst the droplets, a little red-headed girl in a green dress. Her hair was as sodden as Jeni's, her dress stained dark from the water. She had one hand stretched towards the central gush of water, but tilted it to wave at Jenivive, once it became apparent she was coming closer. They observed each other silently for a few moments, one on each side of the pillar, until a giggle from the Legend signalled discourse was open. "M'Meer," came the word from the redhead, followed by a quiet; "Jeni," from the other. As Meer then placed her hand back towards the water, Jenivive followed suit, and placed one chubby hand on the almost solid upward flow. It rushed beneath her touch, continuing it's swell on towards the sky. Behind her Breena quirked a brow at the strange sight, a tot stood with her hand on a fountain's spout, and water rippling into tiny, cresting waves around her ankles. Well, well, seemed there was something to the kid afterall.
Overhead, a loud noise cracked the heavens, and a flash lit the place like a lightbulb had just flickered to life, then died once more. All three heads in the fountain jerked upwards, to the now almost black sky, and the droplets beginning to fall fat and fast. All managed to miss as the water around Jeni's feet heaved and the spout bent under her hand, a huge ripple forming in it's upwards flow, before righting itself as the heads came down once more.
Breena closed her eyes and sighed heavily. She could not walk home through this place in a storm, alone with only a baby. And she suspected hell would come calling when she informed someone to collect them.
