I absolutely HATE Cleaver Sleazoid. And the way Kyo looked in that video. But that's the only song I really didn't like from them.
I also don't like Shinya with cornrows. They make him look unpretty. sad
I liked Withering to Death. Except Machiavellism. I don't know, it sounds retarted to me.

Nolah de Fanel I just remembered I really disliked Kyo's 'Child Prey' Look. I just really didn't get into it...*shiver** nor his Filth, big dreads face mask, phase. Forsome reason I think he looks like a pirate in his FILTH phase. pirate

I used to consider "Child Prey" their worst song when I first heard it because it was so totally unlike their style at that time.
I ended up giving up my petty "bleh" to it and it really grew on me and I was like, well even if this isn't what I'm used to, it's still a really good song. heart xd (Time lapse, like one day for the turn around... sweatdrop )
I'm not really sure what song I'd have to go with as their worst though - maybe "Sea of Retards", but I honestly don't even mind listening to it at all. I just consider it to be my least favorite and not so much their worst. xd ...Sea of Retards? What? lmao wtf You mean that fan altered version of Diety..? XD;

V.i.r.a.g.o Midorihoshii I don't hate any Diru. My least favorite album is Macabre, but that's only because I haven't listened to it as much as the other ones. I know that if I listen to it more, I'll love it just as much as all the others.
I concur.
To add, I don't think any real fan would hate anything from Dir en grey. Perhaps dislike a song or album more than others, but to hate one of their songs is to deny the progression of their music. Any good band will change its sound with every album, and I think it's important to adapt to each new sound, even if it's not as great as the last. If you keep an open mind, you can see how far they've come, and how far they can still go. x3

i like all the albums a lot especially GAUZE and VULGAR and WTD. But marrow of a bone is new to me. I like some songs on there but I can't remember them like the songs on their other albums...it's forgettable to me. And I HATE aggitated screams of maggots...even the title annoys me. everything else is good, especially "the pledge".

Why have I seen a bunch of "I don't like MISSA" or "I even like MISSA!" as if it were a surprise?
What's so bad about it? Erode is Kaoru's best solo. Kiri to Mayu could easily be a Malice Mizer outtake (Tetsu era).

My least favorite work... meaning the one I don't listen to nearly as much as the rest... is Riyuu.
I just am turned off by the intro, for some reason. Doesn't sound very Diru-ish at all, to me.

Perhaps it's more an issue of an individual's taste in music though, as opposed to whether or not someone is a 'true' fan.

I really don't like Cage, which must sound odd compared to the fact that everyone seems to love it. Aside from Toshiya's bass solo, it's just really boring to me.
Style wise, I think they looked best in Vulgar, worst in their early days. None of them looked right in my opinion.
