xp i have conflicting answers...to a question thats been bagging on me since the first episode of fruits basket.
Is akeo male or female.
Okay ive been told by many who read the manga that akeo is so a girl. But then some as suspect at how the comment is said in the english version, making akeo seemly being a man wanting to be female.
But then the anime definitly portrays him as a male, yet this is only part of the story (wishes they'd make more).
So alas i am at a wall as to what to believe.
oh and thanks anime insider for no help. even they confirmed his masculinity with no attempt as to explain their answer....who is really working behind that magazine... ninja
*edit* omg i also got myself a shigure stuffed dog at supanova...eeeeeeee 4laugh

My answer's gonna be in white okay, cause it's actually a major spoiler for the manga. Akito, not Akeo, is most definitely a girl, I've seen pictures. For some unknown reason though, (One which I'm yet to find out) she was raised as a boy, and kept on referring to herself as a male. If you reread the third Manga (Or if you read it for the first time), in the dream Shigure has he refers to the person in that dream being a girl, that girl he, and that other older Zodiac members, dreamed about is Akito... In the Anime Akito is male, mainly because they don't really cover everything that they should. Hope that helps.I want a Momiji doll. ^^

okay so that sorta helps and yeah i knew his/her name is akito... stressed i feel such a dolt.
it makes sense sorta now...i guess ill just have to re-read all the manga...cause i sorta skim read the first 5 and then read the rest...probably not the brightest idea ever. xd

Sukal okay so that sorta helps and yeah i knew his/her name is akito... stressed i feel such a dolt. it makes sense sorta now...i guess ill just have to re-read all the manga...cause i sorta skim read the first 5 and then read the rest...probably not the brightest idea ever. xd Yeah... the first five set up for the later stories, if you don't read them properly, then things may go over your head later. ^^ And Glade I could help out. ^^
