Star Ocean? Ive never heard of it.. but im guessing its a pretty good game considering the feedback you're getting haha. What gaming console is it for?

Star Ocean is a franchise owned by Tri-Ace in Japan. There are four games in the series. The first is for the Super Famicom, AKA the Super Nintendo, and was released in Japan in 1995. Though it never saw a North American release, dedicated fans have hacked and translated the ROM into English (save for the voice-overs).
The second game is Star Ocean: The Second Story, released in 2000 for the Sony Playstation. This game was actually localized to English. It is considered a very good RPG and has/had an extensive fanbase. A side-story was released not too much later for the Game Boy Color called Star Ocean: Blue Sphere, which never came stateside.
The third official game is Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time, released for the Playstation 2 in 2004. This thread was started in 2004 to celebrate its release. I have personally played all four, and they are very good RPGs.
