Shaun The Bunny
I've never been in this situation...

Sorry, I'm of no help.

"Help? Sorry. Telling you I'm of no help in order to get free gold? Sure."

xp

S'alright Shaun, I have a bunch of good games to choose from anyway.

Try something together. Nothing obscure, it tarnishes her opinion of you (sad as it may be), try playing something she's probably heard of before, like one of the old Mario games.

Puzzle Bobble.

That's always Insta-win for girls.
They love how cute Bub and Bob are, and everyone loves puzzle games.

I've got it.

Paperboy for SNES.

If you can't get a** with Paperboy, then you should just give up now.

From my analysis of my own friends' reaction to games.. here is what i concluded.

PS2 - I noticed every girl except for me likes DDR.... but i started my friends with Tekken. I dont think they mind... as far as i have seen...
Most girls also enjoy racing games like Ridge Racer or GTA.

Cube - Mario Kart... Highly reccomend Animal Crossing... a lot of girls like Animal Crossing and Harvest moon.... OMG I WANT HELLO KITTY ROLLER GAME!! Super Smash Bros Melee? I dont think that works for first time gamers. The level of chaos is too high. Super Monkey Ball will work pretty well though.

DS - NEVER NINTENDOGS... boring as hell even for me... after a few days it would get boring. Princess Peach looks good as well as Super Mario Brothers. Umm best bet would be Trace Memory even though it only lasts 4-5 hours. Its just very generic and not like any other game.

DreamCast - Sonic Adventures or Crazy Taxis. Also Dead of Alive is okay to start her out with.

SNES - Mario games (especially kart) and maybe Street Fighter. This is what i got started on but then again... that was when i was little.

NES - Umm... mario... duckhunt might seem lame to her. Pacman and Tetris might work....

Saturn - Cant say much here because i never played Saturn.. but since its Sega... im sure they have sonic games that she might enjoy. Most of my cousins started out with sonic games.

PC - She probably already knows the Sims. 80% of my non-gamer friends have that.

GBA:SP - Super Puzzle Fighter is what my cousin's husband used to get her into games. Other than that i would say Harvest Moon.. that hooked my sister.

N64- I wouldnt reccomend you start her out with a N64 or anything near it. The analog stick i found was difficult for most first time gamers to use.

To some it up most first time gamer girls like games that fall into these catorgories:
- Cute games like Super Monkey Ball
-Extremely simple games like Pacman
- Fighting games to feel good about button mashing and kicking a**
- Racing games... i dont know why girls ten to like them.

Theoretically, Pick the right catorgory and she will find the game enjoyable.

Bag of Monster
Katamari Damacy, perhaps? It's fun, it's quirky, and the main character's father wears tight purple tights which reveal his galactic manhood.
Beat me to the punch. Hell, it's even got rainbows. You can't go wrong with Katamari Damacy. Seriously.
