My 1st name is "Rene" which is French in origin. It means reborn.
My Middle Initial "Bascos" is Spanish for "Basque" an ethnic group that inhabits parts of north-central Spain and Southwestern France.
My last name "Sarabia" is Spanish for "Hail."
Both my Paternal and Maternal sides are of Spanish origin but everyone says I'm an Asian since I live in an Asian country. eek

My maiden surname was Harper. That's pretty self-explanatory, I think.
My married surname is Soderquist. I don't know anything about it other than it's Swedish. Sometimes people see my name on forums or e-mail groups and send me e-mail in Swedish, just to be friendly... But I don't know Swedish. I can usually figure out what the general idea of the e-mail, but I can only respond in English. That's a little awkward for me.
Maybe I ought to learn some Swedish. smile

First name: Alex -from Alexander/Alexandra, Greek meaning "defender of men" cool
Middle name: Theresa -apparently it's Greek meaning "late summer" smile
Last name: Klein -German, 15th most common name in Germany. Means "little/small". sad I found some old letters and stuff from my relatives and there's an "e" at the end of it though, so maybe it was Kleine....*shrugs*

My first name is Spanish... the thing is, I have a Spanish last name too- but I'm not spanish. I'm Italian, Portuguese, German and Irish (then a small percent of everything else -_- I look more Italian-German so I associate myself with that). My last name was supposed to be portuguese (because it was changed in Ellis Island and my dad wanted to change it back) but he mis-spelled it into the Spanish meaning, so now everyone thinks I'm spanish lol.... Bettencourt is what it was supposed to be, now it's Betancourt way to go, dad xD
