Maaan, Im like.. Jerry Garcia. People around me see me, and they want to be a 'hippie' and it makes me mad, cause they think if they like peace signs and color, they are hippies. PISSES ME OFF, MAN. sad Anyway.
I had a friend who I thought was a hippie, but he beats his little brother, and s**t, so it completely changed my mind about him
However, the girl he likes, and has tried to turn into a 'hippie' has become a real hippie smile If that isnt too confusing. SO yeah man, one other hippie. Another friend of mine wants to be a hippie, but at least he is an advocate of peace, and he loves it, so we'll see how he turns out.

Yeah, I get that sometimes as well. But I find the people who give me crap are either insecure, imature, stuck up, or all of the above. Or emo's. Etc. Not saying they are all bad though. Some emo's are nice. But anyway, back to the question, I think they just don't have the proper understanding of what being a hippy is, I mean, what kind of a person insults someone because they believe in peace in harmony?? I just say 'love you too' in a sarcastic voice when anyone tries that crap, don't be bothered by it, really. Ignoring it is probably the only thing you can do, and when they figure you aren't reacting how they want you to they will probably give up and go start insulting someone else. Worth a try! 3nodding
