err, but i only know Miang for her blue hair... so i wouldn't know who you were talking about. {in the encephalon...}
Also, it's not so much getting it from Xenogears- we know there are a lot of similarites. it's just that everyone is going to either say 'they are' or 'they aren't' similar until the people finally come out. it's safer to assume they aren't but seems more like they are. {in certian senses, any way.}
i actually believe they are but it's not a fact. shame though

Um...actually, that girl isn't Miang as far as I know. (Which is pretty far. XD) Since when doesn't Miang all of a sudden look like Elly?

that last line was confusing...
if i understood it the right way- Miang never did look like Elly... well, since they stopped being the full Mother... anyway.
i always liked the way Miang looked better then Elly.

Ella was Miang for a short period. Every time Miang was kill, she would take over another womans body. My guess is the the true Miang may be been the nude girl at the begining of the game. She had that long blue hair.

Yup, that was the Mother, from which Miang, Elly, the Gazel Ministry, and the other first humans came from.

I read like ALL the entries on Xenogears on Wikipedia, and I came across the entry about the Mother. Gawd, I need to play that game over again, too... . .; I've got the urge +_+ And the Gazel sucked very badly. BADLY. Very. I wanted to wring that big little globe thing they hung out in. I'm glad Krelian made them go poof after a while. >_>

Me also, i jumped up and did the 'you can't touch this dance' for about 3 minutes!
needless to say, the cousin that was over looked at me rather odd... but hey, it was easy enough to explain! Yes, i suppose the Gazel were also the worst characters in Xenogears.
Though... i dunno if they beat Shakam- they had more reason to act like fools then he did.
i remember that one NPC who said 'i'll throw him around by his hair... after i give him hair transplants.'
{site note: i remember a no named npc that said 'even we no named npc's have lives, ya know.}'
