Aleya and Kilu nodded. "Sounds like a good idea to me. One other problem though... that looks like an uncomfortable distance to jump. How do we get d-?"
Suddenly the metal they were standing on slipped. Aleya yelped, but Kilu covered her muzzle just in time to keep it from being too loud and noticeable. They both tried to move, but then all the metal everyone was standing on gave away, and they all fell to what would seem to almost certainly be their deaths.
As luck would have it, though, a repair droid saw the metal comming and engaged an anti-gravity ray to slow the decent and stop it in mid-air before it crushed another unsuspecting droid. It didn't seem to notice the metal sheet's passengers. It turned its ray and lowered the sheet to the ground on the sidelines. It started to go back to work, but then it -did- notice the escapees.
Just as it was about to emit an alarm, its headpiece suddenly flew open and its circuits were torn out and rewired by an unseen force. Sparks flew everywhere and it beeps and whistled frantically. The other droids looked over and each of them in turn went through the same thing just as they were about to do something.
But the noise had caught the attention of some Bion guards around the corner of the walls that kept other "civilian" Bions from the repair area. Another sheet of metal fell just in time to hide the group from their sight, but not for long.
Kilu was dazed from the series of events that'd all happened so quickly, but Aleya snapped him out of it. "Quick! Let's get out of here!" she whispered harshly to the group, then led them off in the opposite direction, charging her gun in case she needed to use it.
Suddenly one of the repair droids came back to life and started idly setting the debris up in flower shapes and patterns on the floor.

Sevic was silent for now, prefering to be a follower, than a main player. He was scanning the area intently when the events unfolded, and things happened fast. He braced himself as they began to fall, finding himself looking over to Eleri, making sure she hadn't fallen. The others could care for themselves, they were more... Experienced?
Then his attention turned back to the driods, head tilting as he could make out that they were basically being torn apart? Curious...
"Yeah, we need to move, fast! I'll bring up the rear, you guys get going!"

As the platform slipped, Eleri let out a short shriek that ended abruptly when she clasped her own hands over her mouth before anyone else could; she wasn't about to be shut up by anyone other than herself this time. Still, with both hands covering her mouth, the girl had to rely on her feet to stop her from slipping during the fall--not exactly easy. By the time the repair droid had caught the sheet, Eleri had slipped a good few feet from her original position.
"That's how we get down," she whispered between her fingers, though it was barely audible. Wincing slightly at the droids randomly exploding, Eleri thought not to question it and did as Aleya suggested, staying just in front of Sevic in case he might need help carrying Gavin.
