Wow... thanks for the information. And I was waiting all these years for them to 'find the right publisher' >_< I had several assumptions about why the series was put on hold myself, but I'm really glad to find out the truth. I wish that they would be able to 'undiscontinue' it in the future. After following the manga for 18 volumes and a half, it's disappointing to not know the ending.
Anyway, about Kobato... I've only read up to chapter 4 (probably the last chapter that was released.) It's cute, but not interesting, in my opinion. The lead female looks too much like Sakura (only with longer hair). I also find it strange that it was serialized in a shounen magazine (correct me if I'm wrong on this.) Like some of the other manga CLAMP's been releasing (ex. Chobits, Tsubasa...) these days, I think it's more on the shoujo side...

It's such a sweet manga. And I find Kobato to be very adorable and Ioryogi is so pwnsomeful. (x I'm so ecstatic that it's continuing later on in October again!

sickle_bloodless its such a cute unique manga. O__O; is it really discontiued?! ahhhhh.... > <::; they are continuing in Newtype. but it starting from the first chapter again. so will have to wait until it gets to the part where we left off.

I haven't read Kobato yet, but after reading the summaries of CLAMP works in wikipedia, I decided that I want to read all of them! Ahahaha~ And Kobato is one of them... Ioryogi is cute... ahaha even if he's kinda violent (as also seen with Tsubaki Nekoi-san in CLAMP no Kiseki)

Kobato is coming to Newtype USA in June '07 and is supposed to run in it for 12 months! That's really long for NTUSA! I'm really excited!!!

Arcangel Moon Is it just me, or does Kobato look like Sakura with longer hair in the back?
Exam 7 is going to be out in June. biggrin Oh how I love those side stories. Kobato really has no common sense.

Kobato was also being published in about 7 or 8 of the latest Newtypes. Since Newtype is now cancelled, we're out of luck. But you can probably still find the back issues....

I read all chapters of Kobato. It's one of my favourite CLAMP's mangas. The main character is really kawaii!

Kobato was so sweet and the art was beautiful cause its clamp. i finished the anime and the last 2 episodes i was crying my eyes out ( how very clamp-ish...) but i still completly loved it and can't wait for more of the manga to come out! heart
