Israel reached up to caress his face softly with a soft smile on her lips. She returned his kiss just as lightly, then pulled away.
"I promise Xelly. No more fear. Just... please take it easy. If you feel like there's too much for you to deal with or your heart is starting to act up, please come to me. Don't try to handle it all on your own," she said, still caressing his face. She leaned over and lightly kissed his cheek, just missing his lips.

Xel nodded taking her hand into his he kissed it lightly pulling her closer to wrap his free hand around her waist he finally fused their lips together for a final kiss of the night. He sucked on her bottom lip as he slowly moved away. "Go inside now. I'll see you later." He smiled waiting until she got in the door before he made his way down the hall. And wouldn't it be his luck that he didn't make it? He feel in a heap in front of his own door gasping for air...

Israel had started to close her door. She was half tempted to go after him and tell him he was an idiot for missing her invitation to fool around, but decided that maybe she should just let it slide like she had in the garden. It was just as the door was about to shut when she head a thud in the hallway. Swinging the door back open she looked out to find Xel crumpled in a heap in front of his door.
"Xel!" she cried out and rushed to his side. She turned him onto his back and cradled his head between her hands. "Xel! What do I do?" she cried out in fear. This wasn't her department. She didn't know the first thing about emergencies.

Xel blinked hearing someone's voice and opened his eyes to find Isis craddling him. He managed a silly smirk holding his chest. "Nothing..." he began trying to speak. "..nothing you can do..." he lay there catching his breath, it would pass soon. It always did before, just wait it out. However, he knew he'd been pushing it for way too long, this heart was reaching its expiration date.
He looked to her a soft expression on his face formed breifly before he whinced curling up. It started with a sudden serge of a rapid beating heart, trying desperately to distribute blood and oxygen to the brain. But his heart had been over working all day and it just suddenly couldn't keep up. He looked up suddenly in surprise, violet eyes scared shitless.
He would simply pass out, with not enough oxygen to his brain he couldn't possibly remain awake. His breathing would wind down to a slow crawl before stopping completely. He was in cardiac arrest.

Israel felt her heart stop with his breathing.
"Xel? Xel!" she cried out, shaking him. Why did he stop breathing? What was she supposed to do? She pulled her hands away from him and gripped her hair. Still kneeling on the floor she reached over and pounded on his door.
"Aine! Sora! Anybody!" she yelled, pounding with both hands.

Aine was in her room working on some of Sora's pictures when she heard the pounding and the familiar voice. "Hmm?" It sounded urgent, she hurried to go to the front door to answer.
As she opened the door she saw a distraught Israel holding what looked like a dead Xel. Dead?! Panic took over but she quickly pushed that away, it wouldn't help him to panic. Kneeling before them she reaching down to listen to Xel's heart. "What happened?" she asked. Slidding Israel out of the way, laying Xel flat on the floor she check his breathing, nothing.
"Go inside call the hospital wing...I'll take care of Xel." When Israel didn't seem to move, Aine who was usually so quiet shouted. "GO!" With that she unbutton his shirt and began CPR. It was all she could think to do.

Israel wiped away the tears that she hadn't even realized were rolling down her face. Aine's shout jarred her back to the reality of the situation and she bolted to her feet and into their room. She grabbed the phone and dialed the emergency number.
"We need somebody in Trinity Hall, second floor. My friend has just collapsed on the floor. He isn't breathing! Please!" she said, trying her damnedes to say the words calmly.

Aine remained at work for some time... it wasn't long but the emergency team form the hospital wing came in by then. They were quick to slide Aine out of the way and take over.
Watching them cover Xel's mouth with an oxygen cap attatched to a tank filled with oxygen. They used a difibilator to shock his heart back to life. It took a max of three shocks before his heart began to beat. The team sighed in relief when he began to breath again but it wasn't clear to say he was safe as they quickly pulled him onto a stretcher and rushed out of the hall to the hospital wing.
Aine had her hand over her mouth the whole time trying not to cry but it wasn't easy. A man came up to her then to place a hand on her shoulder. "You did good. The CPR you gave him kept him alive..we'll do the rest." With that he smiled to the girls and hurried off to help out.
Aine brushed at her tears and turned to her door to find Israel there she seemed stone cold. A weak smile came to Aine's face as she wrapped the girl in her arms for a warm comforting hug kicking the door shut behind her. "You can stay here as long as you need... I'm sure Xel would have wanted that. Sora should be back soon, he'll want to know what happens." ~ Fade out ~
