Edgar----> Randi, will rename later
Sabin----> Ivan, will rename later
Shadow--->Sajin, later to be Jun
Thats all the chars i named so far, im in the part where Terra flew away...

First time I ever played, I renamed everyone, the times I played after that I'd keep everyones' name except one. I had to keep Cyan's new name. I know I renamed everyone first time playing, but I can't remember what it all was, this was years ago after all.
Terra: TERRK <-- gonk That one was am mistake. I was figuring out how to do it.
Cyan: Seth
Gau: Gaun <--I think...I'm not sure. O.o
Relm: Fiona
The one character whose name I kept was Mog.

Everyone seems to keep Mog as Mog. I rename Terra Rydia and Celes Ceres, but that's usually it. Sometimes I go through and change everyone to something else.
On a similar note, I changed everyone's names in Chrono Trigger to the DBZ character they most resembled (except Robo, who became Empyu).

FF6 is the only FF where I renamed characters. Some of them were named after friends of mine, because they were similar in certain way.

Setzer - Lee
Sabin - Greg
Locke - my own name
Celes - Angela
Edgar - Emilio
Cyan - Carlos

Started a new game and am renaming everyone. I'm only up to Vector, though, so I obviously haven't found everyone yet.
Terra--Rydia
Locke--Dark
Edgar--Miroku
Sabin--Satan
Shadow--Zabuza
Cyan--Inigo
Gau--Oni
Celes--Ayashi
Setxer--Bakura
In order, the names are from FFIV, DNAngel, InuYasha, DBZ, Naruto, The Princess Bride, nothing in particular, Ayashi no Ceres, and Yu-Gi-Oh!.
