Micoi's face remained unchanged but a small frown creased her forehead. "I'm not about to kill you," she replied, keeping her calm. If nothing else, she reminded herself, she had to have patience, after all, what with Kanak having had much more to do with the annoying little twig, he was sure to have a lot less in that department.
"No, but I might feel inclined to," the demon growled where he stood, hand clenched around the spear's wooden body. Then,in the blink of an eye, he was gone. Only to appear behind the knight, the blade of a dagger dangerously close to the dragon's throat, nearly pressing against it actually.
"I do hate that little b*****d and I do hate his creations, but what I hate more is when someone goes against my little princess," he hissed into her ear, teeth clenched in anger. "And I would retract my comment if I were you unless you want to know what it really means to be a youkai's whore."
"Kanak!" Micoi called, sounding both surprised and a bit scandalized. Apperantly this was a bit much, even coming from him.

She smirked. Well, this would certainly deter her...But it wasn't like this was a total loss...No, not at all! Now he would certainly know she was there...But the question was how long it would take him...In all honesty, she wasn't that surprised to find Kanak standing behind her, nor threatening her with violence...And then, with other things. "...And you really think you frighten me?" she said, in almost the same whisper he had used seconds before, "I'm not even sure you could do it with a real woman..."
That was when Kahaku caught up. He landed next to Micoi, fully sized, and looked between Kanak and the Queen, as if to say he needed to explain something...That they were missing something they really needed to know...And, that if Kanak so much as left a scratch across his Knight's neck, he would seriously consider eating the Yokai whole.

"Oh, don't you speak, you little halfbreed. Or perhaps even that is too generous," Kanak hissed at her as Kahaku arrived. The demon paid the duel dragon no heed. He was far too busy over on his side. "Given your sweeter side, I would guess you haven't done it at all. And you're not even pure, at that, so you shouldn't speak about what purebloods can do or not do, little girl," he threatened.
Micoi wasn't really sure what to say because what with the way they went at it, the poor fighter she'd overheard somemaids talk about, Baran she think his name was, would soon be second. Not that Celia, or this... other person? personality?, would probably fall in love with her youkai companion, oh no, it wasn't that at all, he was just... good in certain ways. Captivating perhaps you could call him too.
As Kahaku landed quite close to her, Micoi could see the near distress on the dragon's visage. Not that it was easy reading a duel dragon's face but it was just something, a sensation, something quite like a silent call for attention or help, that streamed off the animal.
"Kanak, we need--"
"Already done," the youkai said, eyes narrowing at the knight in front of him. Suddenly, swiftly, he pulled away his dagger-wielding hand and smashed the pommel and part of his fisted hand still gripping the hilt into the back of the girl's head.
"Kanak!" Micoi yelled in shock.

Oh, this was funny! She had managed to get the scary Yokai all riled up...Or, it was funny until all at once her world went dark again...Well, it had been nice while it lasted...
For just a moment, the knight realized she was standing on grass...how long had that been there...? Celia didn't remember having been on grass...Hadn't they been...insi..de...? And then her eyes suddenly felt so heavy...she just couldn't keep them open...She started to fall forward, having no ability to stop herself.
It was so sudden, that Kanak struck her...Kahaku couldn't have stopped it if he had tried...But that didn't mean he wasn't pissed....because that, that he was. A low growl came from his throat, and his eyes sharpened, ready to simply rip him to shreads if he hurt her any more...But there...Just a flicker...He had seen it.
There for an instant after the demon struck her, Kahaku spotted a warm sort look in her eyes...That, was his Celia...

Kahaku didn't need to worry though as the demon caught his knight. An arm around Celia's waist kept the girl from falling to the ground and instead she just slumped over it. It wasn't like he wanted to catch her, not really, but for Micoi... alright.
"Don't!" Not a second after the duel dragon had growled threateningly at the youkai, the Dragon Empress-to-be had moved to stand slightly in between the huge animal and the demon. Arms slightly raised, Micoi stared up at Kahaku. She didn't say anything more but it was clear from the look in her golden eyes that she would cause serious injury to the duel dragon if it did anything against Kanak. Whatever happened and whoever was at fault, the young dragon standing in front of the near ancient duel dragon would protect this youkai... And whether that was good or not only time would tell.

For a minute, Kahaku was seriously considering sweeping her aside...That was when he realized just how attached he had become to Celia…He had, legitimately, considered ignoring the Dragon Queen, because of this Knight…He was worried for her. Very worried…But he wouldn’t be stupid.
Suddenly, he started to shirnk…smaller, and smaller, until he was back to his usual size. He held up a card, ‘My apologies. I was, and still am, concerned for Celia….There are somethings you need to know.’ It read, the little dragon hoping now that she would at least hear him out because of his ‘peace offering’ of returning to his more compact size.

There was a second of Micoi giving the sign message an odd look, as though she found it the most oddball thing she'd seen ever, then Kanak spoke.
"Micoi," Kanak said, irritating still on his face, "I suggest you end this little visit soon and take this thing back home." He didn't seem to have a problem with calling Celia a thing in front of his companion. It was also unclear what she thought of the insult since her face didn't change a bit. "She obviously can't teleport or get in contact with the little ant so don't let her come back here. Because I won't bother with holding back too many times." The last line was more for Kahaku's infromation, perhaps, than for Micoi who nodded at him.
"Alright," Micoi replied with a nod. She hadn't forgotten Kahaku however and to show this, she gave him a smile as she closed the short distance to Kanak and took Celia's limp body from him. "I'll see you later, Kanak," she told the demon with a warm smile, which was returned to her.

The little dragon just gave Kanak a small glare, rather than any kind of response…He knew that line was for him, and he didn’t like it…He knew Celia couldn’t help it…Just because they didn’t wasn’t a reason to punish her. However, the look in Kahaku’s eyes was clear enough to read: he would not let anything happen to Celia…She was special to him…and he was going to protect her.
He was glad to see his Knight given to Micoi, honestly not all that comfortable seeing her anywhere near Kanak at the moment. He followed after the queen, not wanting to be left behind if she chose to leave suddenly.
