Run Run Rudolph Event It's that time of year again, and this time there were new cicus pets to be had! I was lucky enough to be given a gift of a Cicus reindeer named Asher. He seems gentle and intelligent. I'll have to introduce him to my other familiars and see how they all get along.

Journal Dear Journal, I received this letter. It is rather self-explanatory. Ihian Left behind his counter in the Library, Grave finds a neatly folded piece of parchment, sealed with a dot of unmarked wax. Upon cracking it open and unfolding it, he reads the following:
Greetings Master Grave. I hereby issue a duel challenge to you to be accepted, or declined, at your leasure. The rules, should you choose to accept, shall be uncluttered and straight forward. Since I myself still belong to the Stage Zero class, the duel shall rightly include no magical incantations or other knowledges and practices not available to those of my station. I realize this is a hinderance to you, and for that I apologize in advance. I would also request that no golems, familiars, creatures or hybrids be brought onto the field of battle. Feeling as though I have tied your hands, metaphorically, I will not object to the use of technoquips or weaponry if you desire to utilize them in the duel. I will not be using them myself. Everything else is fair game.
The challenge has been issued. Do you accept?

Mephistopheles' Embrace Grave woke tingling, his very skin felt light, his blood tickled in his veins, he felt as though his breath were smoke. Slowly he opened his bright blue eyes and lifted his head from the pillow of his room. His dark silken hair had developed two angled chunks framing his face, and as he moved they slid and brushed against his neck, sending a pleasant shiver down his spine. He stretched his limbs out around him and found to his surprise that he no longer had the mere two arms, two legs and a tail to deal with. Where his single fluffy fox tail had been two silken silver tails tipped in black now flickered at his impulse. In addition a silver filmed demonic wing had sprung from his left shoulder blade, and a matching black one from his right. He flared these testingly, excited for the prospect of flight. He felt them tremble, outstretched and wondered if they would bear his weight. They still felt new, weak and unsteady. He would have to train up their strength, and test them slowly and carefully. Flight! Unaided flight! Grave nearly crowed with pleasure. He stepped out from bed and found his skin was greying along his shoulders. Finding his gilt mirror he saw the same change was happening along his cheekbones. The swirling black markings on his face had not edvanced, but a swirl had begun along his right shoulder and onto his chest. He traced the soft designs with gingerly fingertips. The horn on his head had grown taller, transforming from a single small stud horn of silver to a longer curving double horn like Dameron's. Grave smiled, his old Literature Professor would likely approve. His ears felt longer, his silver jewellery had proliferated. He stood a moment in his naked skin and moved his limbs gracefully in the light shafts shining through his skylight and just watched the silver from his body glitter and shine. He grew still and smiled at his reflection in approval. Well, time to get dressed and go see the world with his new Stage Two additions.
