Suoro and the Suoro:

The Suoro have a rich and detailed culture filled with eloquent language and equally eloquent habits. While often assumed to be all soft and laid back, the Suoro is much like the cat they are said to have descended from, always appearing to catnap, and in truth watching everything, and in control. While Speritan is clearly the strongest nation, Suoro is their only viable rival. The Suoro Mayadhrin (or May'an) secretly oversees the running of the Eastern Continent, using magic and trickery to mould history into the shape they want it to take.

There are six provinces in Suoro, and the people differe in style and appearance from place to place. In the very north is the Old Sector, home to the old capitol of Nusir, and the coldest part of the country. The people of the Old Sector have dark brown skin and dark golden skin. They tend to work more fur into their clothes and work with heavier fabrics, thick brocades, woven jaquards and printed wools. In the middle of the conutry is the City Sector, home of both Alonar the currrent capitol and the party city Kaladon. The people of the City Sector are medium brown skinned and medium golden hair. They are wealthy and extravagant and are nearly gaudy in their fashion and appearance. The Guild Sector hugs the bay along the westcoast of the peninsula, and here are housed the Guild Cities of the 6 Suasa Gods of the Elements. The people of the Guild Sector had medium brown skin and dark golden hair. Their fashion is more geared towards the elements, and tends to bear detailed embroidery, gold and silver threading and fine silks and velvets. On the eastcoast the Dragon Sector can be found, where the 7 Dragon Cities are situated. The people of the Dragon Sector have dark brown skin and silvery-white hair. They often dye their hair unnatural colours like green, blue, purple or red, and they tend to mix their time-period with their fashion. The othe sectors find them excentric and peculiar. in the southwest is the Fan Tundra, and in this sector, the people have light brown skin and medium golden hair. THeir clothing is the most simple and crisp because these people are the farmers and providers for the majority of the country. In the very south is the South Sector, where the Suoro rahva, or mob and the bandit guilds originated. The people of the South SEctor have light brown sking and white-gold hair and lighter tinted eyes than their northern brethren. Their clothes are not alwways the most fashionable, but they are expensive in quality, and tend to mixe fabrics that are not to be mixed in other parts of the country, suchas conflicting patterns or colour combinations that other Sectors wouldn't dare wear out of the tailor's shop.

The Suoro religion of Nusala is based very heavily on the principle that the sex act brings you closer to heaven, and so, sex and indeed technique, hygeine and practice is taught at home and at school from a young age. Because of this, incestuous relationships, same sex relationships and alternative lifestyles are all very widely accepted. The general saying is that, if a Suoro can't accomplish something through partying, sex or discussion, it isn't worth doing.

As they learn how to sit, and move, and dance, and so on, all Suoro appear attractive. Even if their features aren't pleasing, they dress and move nicely, and know how to speak or hold themselves to appear as desireable as the next man or woman.

The men wear loose chemises with long triangle shaped lapels and vests of jackets, and slim fitting pants and circle cloaks. The women wear long gathered skirts and corsets or bodices with loose chemises with big sleeves and long cloaks. Both coif their hair and the women tend to wear jewelry in their locks. The fabric and colours are not so rigid, and the cut varies depending on what makes you look best. The one thing that is always constant is the wearing of belts. The more ornate and decorated your belt, the higher your wealth and status.
