The Black District is where Stage 1 and 2 Empyreans are posted to live and train their apprenticeships. Here they can interact, discuss goings on in their sector of the city and practise their requirements for their apprenticeships.

In appearance, the Black District is made primarily out of polished steel, wrought iron, black marble and carved ebody. In design it is very gothic and stoic, with many tall towers and archways of stone. Gargoyles are a common sight here, where watchfulness and protection are important to its denizens.
