Ok, everyone, listen up!
There's some clarifying that needs to be done.
The current children are ONE YEAR older than when they were adopted. I believe that has been reflected in your journals. It was mentioned, I believe, but not officially announced. Sorry, that was our fault. The age change should be reflected in the current RP.
What has happened in this year: The children have had at least monthly training sessions. The first three months or so, this was all three supers (Flashcharge, Darebone, and myself), after that, I dropped out of the picture. On top of this, they should have been having weekly training sessions through the agency and some sort of martial arts training, their choice. The kids have all been going to THE SAME school. It's required that they go.
In the news:
Early in their "induction," a guardian and a kid was killed.
There is a mutant group in the Americas (where the current kids are located) called the "Robin Hoods" who make attacks on political leaders and steal from grocery stores and the like, whole stores disappearing. There are maybe monthly reports about these guys. They're too quick to catch. Apparently we're not the only ones with transportation abilities, though this looks like a mutant. Other Evo descriptions pending.
Flashcharge has been the main hero on scene, Photon has not been seen in the public for years. Darebone occasionally makes appearances in more petty deals with Flashcharge is busy with something larger. Flashcharge is in the news quite often. Darebone maybe once every three weeks or so.
Just recently, Egypt was taken over by Avalanche and Flashcharge was severely hurt.
In the current RP
The children and guardians are informed of this SEPARATELY. The guardians do not know why they are coming, they just know it's SERIOUS and they have to, and all have probably figured it's connected with the recent Cairo incident.
The children are dealt with FIRST. In essence, Charles already knows their decisions before talking to the guardians. We did this in anticipation of the children's RP thread going faster, which does seem to be happening. wink
This is about a REAL deal. They'll be out, seriously, in the real world. Taking Flashcharge's place. =X I wonder what'll happen to the poor kiddies....
In the future
The CURRENT kids are ALMOST 12 years old! That means there is an ART UPDATE coming for the young teenager/preteen look.
... WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Somewhere in the first fewposts of your journals, PLEASE post a current description of your child. Is (s)he maturing, or a late bloomer? What style hair? Any assesories? Any personality trait that we should catch? And MOST OF ALL... Clothing! The more detailed clothing description, the better off you will be in getting what you picture your child to look like. We do NOT guarentee that your child will look like your description, but it WILL be HIGHLY considered. If you do NOT post something, what you get is what you get. Don't complain.
