Yazoo yelped as the small flame erupted from Ifirit's hands. Oh GOD!!! He was about to watch his new friend get mutilated.
Covering his ears and scrunching his eyes shut tight he huddled in the corner a thin whine emitting from him. Where the hell was the Good Sephy?
The only indication the adult gave of surprise at the childs sudden burst of flame was that he moved to the side instead of simply extingishing it. Hissing slightly he snapped a knife out and into the furry face of Ifirit.
He didn't like this little freak. How dare he try to harm his face.
"Not until I have a new mask for my wall." Sephiroth said as he bit the knifes edge in slightly.
((There are plenty of people that would say you were lucky to never have met him. lol
Though TMK Seph normally keeps him in line or Seraph they don't seem to be present. XD;; Running might be a good idea. Though we can just see where this goes. Who knows who might show up. lol))

Okay, this guy had a knife. A. Knife. And this guy was going to use it on a kid. Not just a kid, but him! Ifrit, winced as the knife touched his skin and the sharp edge nipped at him. Okay, bad situation. The option here was clear: cheese it! There was a temptation to just freaking book it, but he couldn't just leave his friend behind. Call it an Aeon's instinct to protect people that 'summoned' them (and wasn't calling someone over to their house sort of like summoning in a loosely technical way?).
He managed to coordinate his legs and backed away suddenly, swatting at the knife, another involuntary burst of flame surrounding his swat. He stumbled backwards and grabbed at Yazoo, tugging at him.
"Come on dude, let's book it!" he yelled. They were small...and small things were harder to catch. So they sort of had an advantage, right?

Oh good. They were leaving. Pushing off from the cupboard doors he made for the kitchen doorway like all hell was chasing after him.
Letting the boy swat the knife away he didn't bother with the flames as he stood up and let them rough off his black leather duster trenchcoat. An icy gleam forming in his eyes as he "summoned" his own magics and created a wall of ice in the kitchen doorway.
Slipping on some ice Yazoo slammed into the wall before slumping to the floor with a groan. That hurt!
"Oops." Sephiroth intoned dispassionately. He could care less that the stupid primadonna had smacked his head. Now onto the business of skinning himself a new pair of mitts.
Turning he looked to where Ifirit was. "Are you ready?" he asked calmly.
