I've heard some of Beyoncé's songs that were in full Spanish ("Irreplacable" becomes "Irremplazable"). According to fluent Spanish speakers, she's not that bad. biggrin

I do see the phenomenom of screwed up english blending with Japanese in a lot of the j-rock and j-pop that I listen to... it's quite amusing to listen to! Though some bands can pull it off really well, like when I first heard Duvet by BoA, I initally thought that she was an American singer... I swear, she has virtually no accent! eek

Oh God... she's Japanese? I swear I also thought she was American! Second shock! eek

Anyone has listened to "¡Te Quiero, Puta!" by Rammstein? I think it's hilarious when Till sings the chorus. It's something like this:

¡TE QUIERRRRRRRO, PUTA! ¡TE QUIERRRRRRRRRO, PUTA! ¡AY, QUÉ RICO!

Obviously, since he can't pronounce the soft Japanese-like R, he must resort to his rolling Bavarian R. But it's still so awesome to listen to him singing in Spanish. rofl
I think BoA's Korean. (I think)

The Boa that does "Duvet", the theme song for Serial Experiments Lain, is a British band with a female singer, not the Korean pop singer.
