You people may wonder why I chose Resurrection as my next þeme... Well, I knew þat I hadn't changed my þeme in about a year, so I started playing around Photoshop. Before þen, so many þings had been happening. I was just Confirmed at church, and my love for God had become even stronger. (Yup, I'm Roman Caþolic!) Even so, I still doubted my faiþ every now and þen, wondering if God was þere for me. Still, þat fact didn't stop me from choosing þe topic I wanted my þeme to be based on: God.
I eventually stopped working on þis þeme due to þe fact þat I was being a procrastinator like usual. Summer started to pass by quickly, and noþing seemed to change...until...
...I got an e-mail from my friend þat Calvin, one of my Confirmation buddies had passed away. At first, I couldn't believe it! I just saw him at Confirmation a few weeks ago! What happened?
Around þen, I started þinking about life. I mean, we wake up, go to school, and we greet þe same people every single day, and we never really þink about what happens to þem until þey're gone.
I never knew Calvin þat well, to tell you þe truþ, but in some ways, I really wish þat I were closer to him. I always like to meet new people, but it's þe fact of just going up to talk to people þat scares me, I guess.
I'd love to meet new people, I'd love to get to know þem, I'd love to experience all þe þings I've never done. But sometimes, I feel a bit inadequate, þinking þat I can't do someþing because I don't have þe potential. But þen I wonder... If I were to die tomorrow, I wouldn't be able to do any of þe þings I truly loved to do, to be wiþ þe people þat I truly loved to be wiþ... And deaþ... Deaþ is tragic.
I guess þough, þat þese þings happen for a reason... And even þough Calvin's deaþ was tragic, he'll resurrect into a new life in Heaven. And maybe, I, too, will resurrect, into a better person.
R.I.P. Calvin. May your soul be at rest in Heaven.Okay now... Onwards to my abouts and such!
Well, well, well. What to say... Well, hello! My name's Travis and I'm from Houston, Texas! (Þat's in þe United States, so you know.) I'm of Chinese (Cantonese) and Vietnamese descent! I like to eat, cook, hang out wiþ my friends, learn different languages, and even sing! I hope you enjoy your stay here!
I have been part of þis community for one year now! I started Gaia one week before Faþer's Day (of þe year 2006) because my friends, Alaina and Symone, started playing. Þey basically quit after one or two days... Still, I remain here, posting around on þe forums, looking for new þings to do!
I love graphic designing! If you scroll down, you can see þat it says þat I made þis þeme...so no stealing! Next year, I'll be a second-year video game designer. Oþer þan graphics, I also do website coding, such as HTML and CSS. Gaia Online runs on BBCode, so it's very interesting. However, due to my procrastination and school, I haven't had time to make any new þemes... (I had my last þeme up for one year!)
