Do you sometimes feel to be a lesser person for being a GLBT teen?: Nah. I'm pretty comfortable where I'm at. 5. Do you feel that you are accepted by your community?: Eh... sometimes. My friends are generally ok with it, they even joke with me about it, and I joke back with them in similar ways. I don't go around parading the fact that I'm gay, so in some ways I feel supressed by my sexuality, but in other ways, I just feel like a normal teen. 6.Has your sexual identity affected your religious views?: Not to a great extent. I've had to rethink some of my views on different things, but I feel more comfortable with my beliefs now. 7.If you have not come out, do you ever feel angry/depressed for seemingly no particular reason at times? Not really... Sometimes I do get depressed, but I can usually work through that.... 8. Have you ever been harrased for your sexuality? If so, how did you respond? Not really... I was picked and spit on in seventh grade, but that's over now. I'm generally well liked by people at school, so I don't get harassed. 9. Are you sexually active? Were you before you acknowledged your sexuality? I've had sex, yes... but I'm not exactly sexually active, given the fact that I have no one to be sexually active with. 10. 2.Religion or belief practice: pagan
3.Have you come out to your parents/parent?: no, I probably won't for several more years. With my sister getting pregnant I would never be able to throw this on them now.
4. Do you sometimes feel to be a lesser person for being a GLBT teen?: Sometimes...a lot of the time. At my school we're definetly looked down opon (though no one knows but my two closest friends about me)
5. Do you feel that you are accepted by your community?: I guess...
6.Has your sexual identity affected your religious views?: Yes. I was brought up strongly Christian from my grandparents, but then moved away from them. Christian beliefs on homosexuality is what made me start to convert to pagan.
7.If you have not come out, do you ever feel angry/depressed for seemingly no particular reason at times? Yes, at least once a month I have a breakdown. I might sob uncontrollably or cut or something even more stupid.
8. Have you ever been harrased for your sexuality? If so, how did you respond? A particularly Christian boy at my school saw me hugging a lesbian one time. I got accused of being a lesbian, which I didn't respond to very well. I actually yelled at him. Of course, this was before I realized the truth about my sexuality.
9. Are you sexually active? Were you before you acknowledged your sexuality? no
10. Do you plan on coming out in the NEAR future? Yes, very near. Perhaps I will next week, when I get off Spring Break.

2. Religion or belief practice: Agonistic, I was Christian but I can't conform to their views any longer.
3. Have you come out to your parents/parent?: Yes I have, been out to my mum, step-dad, and dad for about a year now.
4. Do you sometimes feel to be a lesser person for being a GLBT teen?: Hell no! Maybe I did for a bit when I first realized that I was a lesbian but that wore off fast enough. I am who I am and what I am and am no less for it.
5. Do you feel that you are accepted by your community?: No not really
6. Has your sexual identity affected your religious views?: Oh yes definitely. I was a Christian for almost all of my life after all.
7. If you have not come out, do you ever feel angry/depressed for seemingly no particular reason at times? I've already come out; but before I did I did feel angry and depressed at the most random and sporadic moments.
8. Have you ever been harrased for your sexuality? If so, how did you respond? Yes I have, more than once and I'd rather not talk about it. they weren't pleasant experiences.
9. Are you sexually active? Were you before you acknowledged your sexuality? No, not yet; and nope.
10. Do you plan on coming out in the NEAR future? Already have.

3.Have you come out to your parents/parent?: I have sort of come out to my dad, but I've asked my parents their opnions about bisexuality, and they just thought it wasn't so great, so I'm kind of afraid to tell them I am... I will, though, that's for certain

5. Do you feel that you are accepted by your community?: Yes, as a matter of fact I do..

8. Have you ever been harrased for your sexuality? If so, how did you respond? Some people have laughed at me when they said: 'Les!!' to me and I just said yes, but they freaked out when they realised I was serious.. blaugh

I told my mother a little over a year ago. I had set a date to tell my father, but he found out on his own before I could.

No, never. It's part of who I am, and there's nothing wrong with it.
5. Do you feel that you are accepted by your community?:
Overall, yes, I do.

Not particularly.

NA.

Never physically. A few times I was harrased verbally. I fought for a little while, but eventually walked away.
9. Are you sexually active? Were you before you acknowledged your sexuality?
Nope. NA.
10. Do you plan on coming out in the NEAR future?
The only people who don't know are my extended family, and I don't really plan on bringing it up. If it comes up in conversation, I have no problem telling them, but I don't really feel the need to stir things up at the moment.
Besides them, everyone else (immediate family, friends, people at school) already knows.
