So, uh, yeah, there's an actual, worthwhile question in here, that's probably been asked before. sweatdrop
But seriously, I'd have to go with Turn-Based Strategy. From Advance Wars to Worms(Yay! My favorite), there's nothing like seeing a flawless plan be flawlessly executed. smile smile twisted smile smile twisted smile

Well, while I'd have to agree with what you said about there being nothing like seeing a flawless plan being flawlessly executed, I'd still have to say that my favorite genre is the fighting genre. Oh, and as far as a flawless plan being flawlessly executed? That can happen in any game, if you think about it. 3nodding I find it more satisfying in fighting games and adventure games. 3nodding

When you properly execute a plan you feel pround of yourself. Actually I'm playing Ape Escape 3 and I realised that you can make a flawless plan for any genre. Think about Tetris, Super Metroid, Capcomk vs SNK, Megaman, God of War, Resident Evil, Worms or even DDR... there's no game that you cannot make a plan.

All right, let me rephrase that...there's nothing quite like watching an opponent be blown to bits with tanks, missles, , mortars, air strikes, and exploding sheep. Name one game outside of the Worms franchise that gives you the option of exploding sheep. biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

ShiryuShinDevil iamsouledg3 So, uh, yeah, there's an actual, worthwhile question in here, that's probably been asked before. sweatdrop But seriously, I'd have to go with Turn-Based Strategy. From Advance Wars to Worms(Yay! My favorite), there's nothing like seeing a flawless plan be flawlessly executed. smile smile twisted smile smile twisted smile What Worms, by the way? Worms? You've never heard of it? As in, the TBS games where cute little worms kill each other with comically wierd weaponry? You've never heard of it? But, ahem, the series had some rather unimpressive entries in the series when it tried to switch from 2D to 3D, but recently they came out with another 2D title on the PSP and DS called Worms: Open Warfare. But Worms: Armageddon and Worms: World Party remain as some of my favorite games of all time. mrgreen mrgreen That's all I'm going to bother to explain. Read the reviews on Gamespot.

But to answer again, My first choice would be Fighter, while my second would be RPG. biggrin
