Looking to him a moment, she merely nodded before stepping in, her paw lifting lightly to reveal a darkened coat. Moving her head down slowly, she lapped the cool liquid before slowly moving around to get used to the current and the temperature.
When he spoke next, her ears perked but did nothing else, and she just pretended to think nothing of it. However, she did note the slight yearning in his tone, and that caused her eyes to slowly shift and catch his smile. It appeared that Danzi wanted cubs in the lands that were filled with them. Tail dragging across the surface, she lifted a paw and brushed it over her dusty cheek.

Indeed, seeing all the cubs caused a yearning in the male. He ignored it as best he could, though, every day. Moving to one of the few deepened pools in the riverbed, he slipped down into it and swam around, the water soaking into his coat. "Nice swimming spots throughout the course, too... Rocks mark the spots in the course where the pools start..."

She nodded and looked a moment, before slowly slipping into one. Pushing down until her feet brushed the bottom and her head was submerged, she moved up and felt her pelt fall over her eyes. Shaking the water and flicking her ears, she moved back out until her darkened form was in the sun once more. Stretching, she flicked her ears before glancing towards Danzi.
"You were right." She murmered softly.

Dipping his head under a moment, he surfaced and climbed out, shaking water from his mane. "Nice and cooling?" He smiled, trying to get his mane out of his face.

She nodded, "Thank you..." with that, she slowly moved to turn, and padded out of the shallow waters. Glancing back and flashing one last small smile, she moved off with the drying winds, intent on checking back in with Ta'Ziyan to make sure he was alright.
